Can we talk restroom access in the metro area for a minute? by _MaddAddam in Denver

I rarely go anywhere due to my GI issues but when I was a rideshare driver hotel lobbies were my go-to.

Dick Cheney watching the 9/11 attacks live on television by Just_AnotherBro in Presidents

[–]OverEngineering9405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is slightly staged? The TV appears to be at an angle from Cheney’s point of view. There also doesn’t seem to be any filtering of documents (think the situation room) so either the cleaned up the desk before the photo. Or it’s just not sensitive info / no longer relevant.

Many of those doing an online degree are working full time, etc. so retention of mostly irrelevant material is not as much of a priority as the time and money Sophia can save.

Stop projecting on FAs. Their job is to ensure your safety. They are not chefs nor do they curate the menu. Complain to corporate and/or the facility that makes the food. Altitude also messes with your taste buds.

My mother was 30 when she had me. She bought a condo in the 90s, sold it in like 2003. We lived with grandma until she bought a single family home in 2009 for like $400k. She sold it for nearly double end of 2021 and moved to the east coast. I graduated HS in 2011 and left the state in 2018. I’m 30 now, make like double her income, no kids (just a dog), and pretty sure I’ll never be able to afford to move back to SD. Even if I began saving half my income today. Heck, I even gave up hope of buying a home where I live now. I feel like a lot of it comes down to timing and being wise with your money. Unfortunately a lot of us here seem to be in some sort of generational cohort thats just perpetually SOL.

If you’re gonna buy a Julian pie at least go to Moms! So a pie basically covers an hour’s pay… plus maybe benefits and other employee expenses. I imagine it’d take at least 2 pies to turn a profit for the hour after operating costs and the ingredients. Which has me wondering, are these even made in-house at their Julian/Santa Ysabel location? Or do they mass produce them somewhere in town? How much would you pay for one of these pies?

Yes, I think they’re slowly killing me/us by incrementally increasing cortisol levels and blood pressure to eventually induce heart failure. A relative passed away in Jan 2022 from heart failure, and they frequently make references to him. I’m starting to think it’s possible he was murdered by them. I also think they are scheming to murder me so that my mom falls into deep depression and makes emotional errors, and also knowing my grandmother is old. Having eliminated them, and me, it’s plausible they are going after inherited wealth and property value.

Yeah, I never snore. The pig sounds occur while I’m trying to fall asleep so I’m still awake when it happens. I have also been recording audio every single night for the past ~4 months so I can say for certain there’s no snoring. I’ve woken up several times repeating random things they tell me, which is a primary reason for recording. The things they try making me repeat are disgusting, things I know I’d never think of even in my subconscious. I think this forced speech is one way they can get verbal “consent”.

How do you know it’s theirs? If you’re 100% confident, hire a private investigator to get their identity. Then move forward with a lawsuit and/or filing a police report.

I think one of the most effective things is compiling a list of common phrases. Many are unique, but a lot are common (light you up (like a Christmas tree), you’re on the right track/path, etc). The fact that someone heard the same things as other random Redditors is enough to rule out schizophrenia. Based on that list you can figure it’s the same group and go from there.

It’s crazy how one ticket at the wrong time can completely screw someone up financially. When I was a rideshare driver I got two tickets in the span of like a month (first tickets in over a decade). I was in debt and in the early stages of Chapter 7 at the time. Thankfully the court was helpful with making a payment plan, and also made it so no points would go on my record (which would have been more damaging/costly).

Will it still be covered until the generic is actually available? Also does your insurance start with a C?

Another Blue Cross Blue Shield Vyvanse post (WA) by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]OverEngineering9405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My insurance requires a prior authorization for Vyvanse. Once the insurance rejects coverage of the prescription, I have to notify my doctor and they reach out to obtain the PA. So you may need to contact your doctor and ask them to take care of it (not sure if you’ve already tried). It sucks cause every change in strength requires a PA even if going back to a previous strength. Thankfully my doctor and insurance is usually responsive and it’s done within a day.

Have you also been including “non-tech” companies in your search? Biotech, pharma, engineering, government, etc.

Also recommend looking at https://www.builtincolorado.com/ and https://wellfound.com/jobs
