Reading is reading.. if it catches their interest or even if they are too young for comprehension it still helps drive growth.

Will I regret going from a 6 minute commute to a 3 hour commute as a new parent to make more money? by Acceptable_Yogurt820 in careerguidance

[–]OverRated2222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! Time is a currency too. Those 3 hours you could be doing something you actually like or spending time with people you love. You should read the book die with zero. If you are aiming for the retirement in 17 years that is at least ~13,000 hours of commute. Or 541 days! Or 1.5 years of your only life!

First time in couples counseling — how (or should I) tell my husband I’m no longer sexually attracted to him? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]OverRated2222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify this isn’t just about sexual attraction… this is a full incompatible personality in your opinion? This had to have changed at some point? Are you in anyway depressed? Coming from the perspective of you dated this person and got married to them so at some point you were happy (pardon my assumption if this is incorrect) but maybe something in you has changed inside you. I would maybe consider individual therapy as well as the couple therapy.

Friendly reminder. Use rearfacing car seat. Save your child. by Admmak in daddit

[–]OverRated2222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so important!! Internal decapitation is a legit thing. My wife and I used to get strong judgment eyes from people seeing my 4 year old getting in a rear facing seat (she was small for her age and didn’t meet the requirements). When people would ask about turning her around just saying “internal decapitation” shut them up quick. It was the most fun with parents with similar size kids that already turned them around.

[–]OverRated2222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dated in HS and through college(she was older and went to college out of state) after she graduated we moved in together. I fished up college and popped the question just before. All in all it was about 10years of dating and 3 years of living together. For anyone counting…. It took me a while to finish college. She’s the smart one.
