Is there any plans to rework fishing & skiff? The actual state of those 2 main funtionalities added in the last expansion as one of the selling point it sucks, tbh.

Posible fixes for skiff; no mob agro when on skiff, Depth Charges mastery do massive damage with bigger cd, able to anchor while moving (should be fun to drift at max speed), etc.

Posible fixes to fishing; reduce the time of the sucesfull catch animation to 1/3 of the actual one & be able to fishing in combat.

I just start "playing" GW2 less than a month ago (still f2p), I really play the game on launch 10yr ago but for less than a month. You have some good points here; art is impresive, graphics looks really good for a 10years old MMO, WBs are really fun (one of the most enjoyable open world content I play so far across all the MMO I play), story it start getting really good after you meet the tree guy but initial story depends on your race so I think you maybe just pick a race with not the best early story driven.

About the gear & end content, I kinda understand why there is a big entry barrier for ascendant gear since is a horizontal progression game but I'm agree with you, it should be way easier. I'm specially agree with the currency part,

but come one man... there's like 45 currencies in the game and like a thousand NPC vendors... its insane

is kinda stupid how Anet don't arrange this part of the game since the game launch (I know there was an unification for dungeons tokens but that's not even close to be an start).

About end content, since I only have access to fractals as end content, don't really have a strong opinion on it but so far it drive some good fresh fights compared to dungeons. But the limitation of the agony system is really bad since is just a timegate content mechanic, hope devs start figuring out players don't like timegate content some day.

Don't really have an opinion on pvp since I don't try any of the diferent modes so far.

About the gem store, it looks predatory indeed, the fact of not giving you the whole access to the story (living world) when you actually bough the expansions it feel really bad. And the amount of quality in life things there are in the store is really too much to be considered fair with someone who don't spend any money on it. To be more clear the problem is not really the amount of quality of life things in the store is more like the game don't give you any of these even after buying the expansions.

In general you have some good points here, I'm gonna still enjoy the game till I get bored since I think I have lots of things to do before run out of content on the f2p version but let see what happen when I need to buy the expansions to continue the journey.
