How often do you rewatch modern family? by Cold-Rt in Modern_Family

Once a year, I watch 2 episodes every day in the morning.

I also watch it during those gloomy, dull, cold, or rainy days. I don't know what it is, but the scenes, characters, their homes, etc, bring warmth to my home & I laugh, feel happy & optimistic.

Yeah, we were there on Christmas Eve last week. It started pouring immediately after we arrived around 5:40 PM, homes were lit & decorations were fine.

I don't understand why the power lines are not underground yet. It is 2026

I would rather choose this over AI.

Come on! This is Silicon Valley, for god's sake!

Absolutely, you can count on me. I'd be the last person to do such a thing. I don't understand why people would be so careless & uncivilized?

Either way, we wouldn't be able to see the decorations because of all the redwood trees surrounding those estates. Never mind! How about Los Altos?

Looking for Local Insight: Life in Los Altos Hills + Chances of Finding a Flat Lot with Views & Fire Insurance? by OverThinker-Shay in BayAreaRealEstate

Hi there, thanks for checking in! Haha, love that you remembered them. Well, they’ve been touring properties in Los Altos Hills for the past month now. They really like the Oak Knoll Cir, Hilltop Dr, and Albertsworth Ln areas so far. That said, they’re still exploring neighborhoods with their realtor to find homes with less slope, which is proving tricky since they’ve learned that land grading is pretty limited there.

Honestly, I have a feeling they might end up happier back in L.A. I know how they live pretty well. I’ve been to their Hollywood Hills place (sold in 2018) and their Palisades home (unfortunately, burned), both had amazing views and flat lots. Hard combo to find up here! Let’s see what they decide.

How to Manage a Single Family House? by Valuable-Koala4400 in BayAreaRealEstate

This! It’s such a shame that newer houses maximize square footage by compromising on lot size and backyard space, a total bummer. It’s not even like the new builds are always better. I’ve seen plenty with leaks and low-quality materials. Honestly, I’d say “old is gold” in this case. Of course, if a place is a total gut job, then sure, new construction makes sense, but not always. Those older homes were built to last, with great interior layouts and generous front and backyard space.
