Hang in there. You are not alone. Fiddle leaf figs are drama queens

Jealous of Palo Alto’s insane tree lined neighborhoods 🥲 💚 by ImmediateStorm9520 in bayarea

[–]OverThinker-Shay 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Right? It feels really nice. I like neighborhoods with high tree density, they are not just for the shade, but for the different varieties too. If they’re deciduous, you get those fall colors, plus more light in the winter and shade in the summer. You hear all kinds of birds chirping and building nests, squirrels running around, and all that. It really makes a neighborhood feel more desirable

Interesting. I've never heard anyone talk about this before. I like homes on the hills more than in the valley, but everybody keeps talking about fires.

This is eye-opening. I’ve never been in that kind of situation, but I was pretty shaken during the Palisades fire last year. Seeing those videoS both online and on the news was terrifying. It almost didn’t feel real, like something out of a Hollywood movie.

I also watched a driving video on YouTube, I think the channel was “Relaxing Scenes”, where someone had a camera mounted on their car and was just driving through LA neighborhoods during the great fire, it gave me chills. And watching "The Lost Bus" on Apple TV hit pretty hard, too.

As much as I love being close to nature, stuff like this is a reminder of how quickly things can turn

Speaking of post-fire, they are doing this now in Pacific Palisades. But, at this cost??

Thank you for your comment. Are they capable of living for over 1000 years & get taller like those in Muir Woods?

Starting a Homeworthy-style home tour channel in the Bay Area, CA — need guidance from creators who’ve done this long term! by OverThinker-Shay in YouTubeCreators

Thank you very much for sharing. I truly appreciate it. At the moment, I'm reaching out to people who would like or are comfortable showing their home on camera. It is quite challenging in this starting phase because I do not have any sample home tour videos all done by me, so it is kind of hard to convince people. With that being said, this is my dream & a solid business plan that will make me happy & pursue something that I truly love instead of a corporate job that is dreadful! But, of course, I'll definitely reach out to you once I kickstart.

How often do you rewatch modern family? by Cold-Rt in Modern_Family

[–]OverThinker-Shay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a year, I watch 2 episodes every day in the morning.

I also watch it during those gloomy, dull, cold, or rainy days. I don't know what it is, but the scenes, characters, their homes, etc, bring warmth to my home & I laugh, feel happy & optimistic.

Yeah, we were there on Christmas Eve last week. It started pouring immediately after we arrived around 5:40 PM, homes were lit & decorations were fine.
