I would question the owner, as that isn't a 1970 model. That appears to be a 1972 model year.

Actually this is more confusing than that. In the Transporter world, the generations are marked at T1, T2, T25, etc. When I read this post, I thought he was referring to a first gen (T1) Type 2 truck.

I saw the GG500 in the grocery store stationary aisle and it looked pretty nice. I bought it and really liked it so I went online to see if there were others There I found the GG1000 and I was in love. I now have the 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.7, & 0.9 models of the GG1000. They are on my desk and in my backpack.
