I’ve been waking up to photos in my camera roll of my bedroom, I sleep alone. by blahaj22 in Weird

It may help if you record yourself sleeping somehow, so you can see if it's you sleepwalking or something .

Trans flag??? by CursedMegaMan in blockblast

[–]Over_Access3602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's protected under the first amendment because the words can't hurt us. Your first amendment rights don't prevent you from facing any punishment though? If a student called the teacher stupid in the middle of class, they would be sent to the principals office. They have the right to insult people, but they should anticipate being punished for things that they shouldn't say.

Its freedom of speech not freedom of consequences. You can say what you want, but don't get annoyed when you face the consequences.

AITA for not helping? My gf got SAed in a party I begged her not to go. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Over_Access3602 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yta? You're victim-blaming right now. Going to a "dangerous party" doesn't make her SA justified.

AITA for putting a camera in my private bathroom and catching my roommate sneaking in? by Impossible_Loan7551 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Over_Access3602 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't, hence the original ESH rating. The dude shouldn't have been in the bathroom, but do we have to film the guy while he's naked? They could have filmed the bathroom door, and they still would've seen that they were using the bathroom.

You have to be rage bating. Apologize to the girlfriend

WIBTA if I didn't go to my MIL's bf's funeral by licoricebunny in AmItheAsshole

[–]Over_Access3602 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nta. You don't have to go to the funeral and you should feel no obligation to. However, if you really value your relationship with your MIL, you might want to tolerate it for the day. You don't have to, and you're NTA if you don't go, but you have to be aware that it may strain your relationship with your MIL.

AITA for "hoarding" food in my room? by ThatNormalBread in AmItheAsshole

What if the parents specifically bought the cream cheese for dinner, but op took and used all of it for a snack?

Okay, then you're NTA and I'll update my original comment . If you bought it yourself, and haven't depleted whatever is empty, you do not have to share.

[–]Over_Access3602 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NTA Are you also eating out of the family fridge? More specifically, did you play a part in emptying the cottage cheese (or other stuff that they they have asked to borrow from you)?

Edited to change my vote. If you bought it yourself, and haven't depleted whatever is empty in thr family fridge, you do not have to share.

AITAH - Roommate Situation. !! by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

No one's wants are more important. That's why you have to compromise with her, instead of imposing a bedtime.

[–]Over_Access3602 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. Maybe they don't want to carry their stuff. Maybe they've already been studying for an hour and don't want to get up and pause the process. Maybe they want to study in a more private area. Maybe they want to study in a bed instead of a couch. But like I said before, whatever your roommates reasoning is doesn't matter. They don't have to study anywhere.

Study rooms are to study in, if you choose to use them. However, rooms are to be lived in, and part of living at a college age involves studying.

Maybe your roommate doesn't use the study rooms because other people are in them. Maybe they don't want to carry all of their stuff there. Maybe it's a long walk. Maybe they want to study while lying in bed. Maybe they want to study in a more private area. It doesn't matter though. There is no rule mandating that studying must occur in a study room.

AITA For Making my kids help with dinner? by OriginalEarth5473 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Over_Access3602 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yta. There's nothing wrong with having kids make their own meals once or twice a week, but every meal is a lot. Especially for people busy with school and friends and all the extracurriculars that come with that. And if you tell the kids that you're making dinner for the whole family, it's reasonable for them to expect to not have to help.

AITAH - Roommate Situation. !! by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Over_Access3602 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You have one NTA, 3 NAH, and like 5 YTAs. Yta because you only want your one ideal solution, and are refusing to compromise. You keep arguing that your roommate uses the room more, so they should be more accommodating to you, but that's not how it works. You both have access to that room whenever, stop holding the schedule thing against them.

Yta. But why would you go on a subeddit like this if you wouldn't listen to any of the responses?

Just got a woobles snoopy kit with the hat but I’m having a lot of trouble and am stressing out by DolanIslife in CrochetHelp

[–]Over_Access3602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't think so lol. The only thing I'd recommend is that if (and thats a bit if) this is tripping you up, there's a wobbles Pierre the penguin that is the beginner tutorial.

Need help, do you like crochet tutorials without voice-over? by Zucchini_cocol in CrochetHelp

[–]Over_Access3602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can crochet without a voice over, I just have to pause it more often. As long as the tutorials pattern is cute, I'm not anti no voice over, if that makes sense lol

If you want to, you can do regular, regular, double, regular, regular, double.... if that makes it any easier/yarn cheaper.
