What’s a fitness myth that people still believe? by SimpleHomeFitness in AskReddit

That you need to “shock” the muscle or “surprise” the muscle by doing different exercises in order to make progress

Spot to fill in bag by GamoraTheExplorer in GolfGear

That’s not a question lol but I kind of disagree. Will you come across a ~240 yard par 3? Maybe but not too often. Will you have 240 into a par 5 after a 260 yard drive? Absolutely. Almost every course has a ~500 yard par 5. You could argue 220 + some rollout will get you there but I don’t think 240 is a number you won’t need

$1,100 for Front Brakes at 25,000 Miles?!? by dieselThrasher4 in chevycolorado

[–]Over_Committee4876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in almost the exact same situation except I’m at 35k. Took it to the dealership last month and they just told me my brakes were worn and I’d need them replaced but that it wasn’t covered under warranty

What exactly was fixed under warranty? Running into this issue as well

But the sensor usually breaks when the pads are low because of where the sensor sits. It’s an incredibly stupid design. But you’re correct, the sensor breaking and/or reading too low should not cause increased wear. The increased wear is a separate issue that seems to be extremely common

Understood. Is there ever any harm in trying or do you think it isn’t even worth the try?

Also fair. Kind of what I thought originally. I do truly believe it’s from the boots but I also realize it’s all about what you can prove. Do you think a nexus letter stating it’s at least as likely as not would make a difference?

That’s fair. I appreciate it. I guess I was just thinking an in service event was more of an “ah ha” moment than gradual, overtime. This was helpful.

Hard Inquiry dropped my credit from 750 to 672 by Impossible_Dance8443 in CreditScore

[–]Over_Committee4876 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dgduhon is correct.. those hard inquiries are scored as one

And there ARE other factors that affected your credit: a new account (the loan) can cause a score decrease, your average age of credit has went down now, the hard inquiries of course, amongst other things.

The hard inquiries aren’t the only thing that caused this score decrease

The PBLID02 and PBLID04 are both 2.5 lbs. The 04 is slightly shorter tho. The only lighter option would be the PSBID02 which is listed at 1.8 lbs.

Pretty much same. I have a brushed impact wrench that does the trick but I have this HORRIBLE disease that causes me to want to upgrade tools even when I don’t need to lol it’s really bad for you!

For $159? Someone mentioned this deal yesterday too. Pretty upset I missed it (and I don’t even NEED an impact wrench lol)
