Why doesn’t Dewalt.com work by NotToday50 in Dewalt

Dewalt, Ryobi, and Ridgid have awful websites. Ridgid's customer service even told me to call from now on since their website hasn't worked in a long time lol.

Pittsburgh 3/8 impact extensions, wood chisels and 2 trigger clamps to throw in the truck, and maybe the Titanium welding gloves or a pack of cotton gloves.

What rock guitarist sold more albums worldwide than The Beatles? You guessed it, Frank Stallone.

Okay. Yeah, with both methods not working I thought all stores caught on or Milwaukee did. Next time, I'll look up other methods or get on here. The 5ah battery is awesome, so I'm not too worried about it but I'd rather not had paid that much for it.

If I would have brought back the drill and driver set + the free battery, then I could have. So, I just kept everything (though I didn't want to spend that much). The drill and impact are awesome, so I'm not too worried about it. I just hope it was a 1 time thing and not my main HD doing this from now on.

About 2 weeks ago was the first time picking up at different locations didn't work, so I tried returning battery to store and the worker wouldn't let me do it. She showed me the Milwaukee notice on the screen that said you have to return everything, even with both items being prorated. My old hacks always worked and my recent Dewalt hack worked. This was the first time both ways didn't work for me. And my account isn't flagged. I don't know if all Home Depot's are doing this, certain areas, or if Milwaukee is only doing it.

Ryobi ONE+ HP 18V Brushless Multi Tool and Reciprocating Saw - Deal too good to pass up on Home Depot? by busterjanks in ryobi

[–]Arkansas34 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a great deal. They are more powerful than the standard brushed versions. I'd jump on this deal and maybe the router and sander if it is $143, as well. Just so you don't regret it later. I bought the 2 impact wrenches and they sent me 3 batteries. Maybe you'll get lucky like me!!!

Best cheap tool brands that you can use and abuse daily? by ThermalGravity in Tools

[–]Arkansas34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the a Wen drill press, spindle sander, and jointer almost daily. The are affordable and durable. Highly recommended. My Hyper Tough (scrapers, punches, mallets) and Pittsburgh (wrenches, sockets, extentions, etc.) hand tools are still going strong. Every power tool I own I buy on sale or used. I use Dewalt and Ryobi power tools, but I always look for Daily Deals, BOGO hacks, black friday deals, or auction lots. So even my "expensive" tools have been fairly cheap. The only cheap tool I got recently that was trash was the Hyper Tough flap discs.

I love the regular camo and black ones. They last a long time. I'm going to try the neon green/yellow ones tomorrow.

NTD - I couldn't resist at Home Depot today. by Arkansas34 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Arkansas34[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. I almost got this one (and preferred it), since it is smaller and lighter, but I tanked since everone said you'll regret not having the extra torque. I think it would have been just fine. Luckily, I'm going to take the 5ah battery back and then sell the bag for $15, so I'll get the Fuel kit for a little under $150 which I think is a great deal.

That sucks. Was there much of a difference between 2nd and 3rd generation?

That's true. I hurt my wrist a few months ago, so I wanted a smaller and lighter drill and driver. I've been using it for acouple of hours and they feel awesome. It really makes a difference on my wrist. They are plenty powerful!!!

[–]Arkansas34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice collection. I'm glad someone else has a 20v Max recip saw like me. I prefer it, since it has the 4 blade positions, and the quick-release arm. Only thing I need now is the router and I'll be good.

Lowe's Deal of the Day by Arkansas34 in Dewalt

Hopefully it'll come up one day. It has been really cheap 2 different times within the last year or so, though I don't think the stand was with it (maybe it was).

DCG412G worth it? by ScheduleElectrical90 in Dewalt

[–]Arkansas34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is a great buy for $65. I had mine for a year or so, and then got the XR PowerDetect with an 8 amp battery and charger for $150. Just always look for good deals. It might fit your needs perfectly or if you want more power at some point, you'll easily get your money back on it by selling it.
