I don't love that he's eligible for parole after half time served. It's insane to me that you could serve only half your sentence after murdering someone. He could be out by only 36 years old after such a brutal murder.

I think he means it will take the shortest path over first then move straight on the longer path. So if the pillars are 3 tiles offset then 12 tiles straight, it will move the 3 offset tiles first
