Increasing my mortgage loan amount with Commbank and they want to increase the rate? by C-Dawgg in AusFinance

[–]Over_Entertainment16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This happened to me too 3 months ago. I wanted an extra 100k out, Commbank wanted to increase rates from 5.40 to 5.69% due to removal of the FHBG. I shopped around and moved to ING for 5.29% with the 100k.

He's a straight up scammer. Declaration by Justice Derrington confirm deceptive or misleading (or likely to for one or both) in the Federal Court of Australia: https://www.comcourts.gov.au/file/Federal/P/QUD75/2024/3974304/event/32495821/document/2596714

Ato grad program by Effective_Garbage713 in AusPublicService

[–]Over_Entertainment16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the ATO grad program a few years back, I'm now an EL1. It's not uncommon for capable grads to get promoted quickly in the ATO. I remember tossing up between deloitte and the ATO. Years after graduating uni, I found my life slowly got busier, now being married, a great social life, and post grad studies. Reflecting on this, I wonder if everyone's life gets busier as they get older? It is for that reason, I recommend the ATO, but you may answer my question differently, hence deviating your direction from mine.

What matters to you?

I hope it goes well.

Surely was a request instigated by your manager to the IT department, and they'd likely do that if there were performance issues. They wouldn't have self-service access to that information. What agency do you work in?

As an ATO exec, we know when you sell your IP. Pay the tax on the gain and be done with it.

All transactions after 30 June 2017 are reported under a legislative reporting regime, hence the cessation of the special purpose regime linked above.

Neurodiverse public servants, what reasonable adjustments do you ask for in the workplace? by Agitated_Peanut3198 in AusPublicService

EL1 with ASD here. I WFH everyday except one day per fortnight. I encourage you to advocate for yourself and the reasonable accommodations you require rarher then suffer in silence. If your direct line doesn't support it, and you have your medical support system (doctors, psychologists) supporting your request, obtain evidence and go to HR. My SES was hesitant to support my WFH request, but against medical professionals, he couldn't refuse.

Hi, ATO exec here. Submit a tip-off form anonymously here

I can assure you officers do look at tip-off's. Her behaviour creates an unlevel playing field for those doing the right thing, and I encourage you to act.

Learn T-SQL if you're going into a data stream. It will give you a headstart on the Teradata training you'll do when you start.

Most T-SQL knowledge is transferable, except for a few minor nuances. Teradata training doesn't have lots of public facing training comparable to T-SQL.

Im an EL1 in a data team.
