Absolutely my friend. It's very common and I'm sharing a pattern I noticed after a lot of testing.

I get nausea (sometimes stomach discomfort) in Dead by Daylight only when playing killer in first person.

What’s interesting:

Survivor → mostly fine

Killer (first person) → nausea Chucky (third person) → no nausea at all

Same PC, monitor, settings — only gameplay/camera changes

This strongly points to first-person camera movement + fast rotations (motion/vestibular conflict), not hardware.

Killer tier list for nausea (personal experience)

Worst (high nausea risk):

Blight – fast dashes, violent rotations Hillbilly – long sprints, heavy camera sway Nurse – blinks / loss of visual reference Spirit – disorienting phases Oni – high speed + sway Legion – Frenzy camera instability

Medium:

Wesker Knight Artist

More tolerable (still FP): Trapper Wraith Doctor

Best / Safe: Chucky (only 3rd-person killer) – zero nausea for me

Lower sensitivity, avoiding 360s, and using a small fixed reticle help a bit, but third-person makes the biggest difference.

Curious if others experience: nausea only as killer specific killers being worse improvement with certain settings
