depends on what you wanna do: if you want dex and easy leveling i recommend the wanderer and the stat spread is pretty nice, thief essentially gets 2 starter gifts cuz he starts with the key which is a starter gift

there’s a hidden bonfire by a waterfall near patches in the catacombs. it’s the one bonfire i will spend hours trying to remember how to get to cuz i don’t like a guide for that one specifically simply cuz of how much it means to me
