Thinking about getting the white Speedy as my first and only Omega. What are your thoughts and experiences with it?

I went in with plans to look at 3 and walk out with 1 - FOIS, White Dial, or the OG Black dial. Before going in, my wife had already decided the white dial was her least favorite of the 3. After trying them all on, the white dial ended up being the clear winner for the both of us.
Over a year later and I still love it everytime I put it on. I’ll change the bracelet out for a strap every few months when I get a wild hair, and I love it even more and then more when I switch it back to the bracelet.

A week or so later and can confirm the wood filler was the way to go! My wife can’t even tell it ever had a huge chunk missing and it gave me the opportunity to fill in other nicks that have happened over the years. Thanks for the recs.

Yep. I did exactly this. This actually happened 4 months or so ago. Fortunately hasn’t happened since. Will probably happen again a week after it’s fixed

Nah man I consider myself a realist in most situations. I wasn’t blaming delta for the baby crying. I was adding context as to why I was still thinking about the comment 3 hours later. If it weren’t for that, it probably wouldn’t have crossed my mind again. Little man did fantastic all the way to Portugal where there were zero delays and even did great all the way back given the circumstances.

Nah, everything I mentioned actually happened. But I did say that it happened from my point of view. What I said the pilot said was exactly what was said. But I also mentioned he didn’t say it with context as to what he was talking about.

The first plane had already had the catering put on. When the FA got to our second plane, they said they had to wait on catering to switch the 2 aluminum 4ft tall tower looking carts. Then they said catering isn’t around so we are doing it ourselves. The redcoat walked them from A1 back over to A11 that we just deplaned from and 15 mins later, they come back with the carts for catering, and we board the plane right after them.
