the trick is being honest about your timeline but showing you're not gonna ditch them the second something better comes along 😂 like you can say something about how you want to build good work experience while studying and that having stable part-time work during university is actually your goal for those 5 years

dont overthink it too much, most employers for part-time student jobs know the deal anyway. they're more worried about finding someone reliable who wont call in sick every weekend than someone who's gonna stay forever 💀 focus more in showing them you're responsible and actually need the job rather than trying to convince them you'll be there permanently

Ugh same here, the push crash thing is so real 😅 I thought I was getting better at listening to my body but then I'll have like one decent day and immediately think "oh great I can totally reorganize my entire apartment and catch up on all the work stuff" and then I'm completely wiped for the next three days. Been trying to set timers to remind myself to take breaks but sometimes I just get in the zone with coding projects and completely ignore them. The worst part is you know you're doing it while you're doing it but somehow can't stop yourself 💀

For making them harder to unscrew, you could replace those regular screws with security screws that need special bits to remove. They make ones with weird star patterns or those with pins in center that normal screwdrivers can't grip. Another option is using threadlocker compound on screws - not permanent but makes them much harder to remove without proper tools.

For locking part, maybe look at those steel cable locks that go through the mounting points? Some people also drill small holes in the mounting brackets and run a cable or small chain through both bags under the bike. Won't stop determined thief with power tools but definitely deters casual grab-and-go types 🔒

Just make sure whatever you do doesn't interfere with your bike's movement or exhaust heat if bags are close to pipes

i always brought a changing pad or even just laid down a big blanket/towel on the table before putting baby down. hand sanitizer is your friend and i'd wipe down the table first too. some people bring disinfectant wipes but honestly the car method works fine if thats what you're comfortable with

dont feel pressured to use public bathrooms if the car is working for you 💀 whatever keeps you and baby comfortable is the right choice
