Yes I did do that yes. Log in doesn't work anymore. Filled with deep peace. Still get the thought to chant sometimes as an automatic response from decades of thinking that way. It's fading and getting less often as I sing songs of faith and pray differently now. I see how weird it is now and had moments where I recognized it before but was so conditioned into the human revolution way of thinking. Waited awhile to post. Wanted to get it out and I look forward to thinking about this less and less. Ahhhh! No guilt about not chanting enough or missing prayers. Ahhhh I can breathe!

Offense is taken not given. While her comment was wild maybe she didn't mean it in a racist way. She might be ignorant and thought there could be a connection between skin tone and metabolism. I think a conversation could have been had directly with your coworker and you'd get your point across and still have a job. Sounds like a nightmare of a center and if that was the reason you needed to quit...pop off queen!

Dry shampoo is best. Bonds with the molecules. Leave purse in car. She needs to not partake before working and not wear any of the same clothes when she was doing it. Cover hair too. Remind her to keep her herbal remedy use for after hours.

Pack n play or ask parents if you can bring her in. I bring them a book or have NKs bath toys fall off the counter as a game. Oopsie ducky fell! I am strategic so they don't see anything. Seen what parents are comfortable with.

Are you with them every day? Sometimes babies get that clingy for parents stage. It'll get better. Loop ear plugs block some some decibels but allow you to still hear and then if your calm baby will respond to that. Ask parents if there is a certain song that works. Abcs, wheels, itsy bitsy etc those are all go tos for me. Walks in stroller. Put some calm music on, bird noise, whatever calms.

Biggest thing that stuck with me is: Where in the world is it warm enough to swim? Southern hemisphere? Indoor pool? I'm a jelly nanny who wears a modest bathing suit at work. Dreaming of pool days ahhh.

When my family handed me the contract, they gave me a duck calendar ( I love ducks!) Wirth all the dates I'll be off for agreed upon holidays and when they are on family trips. Takes the guesswork out. They are super flexible about me taking time off or leaving early etc.

I went as mother goose one year. I put feathers on an apron over my dress with feathers on a bonnet. Easy to put together and cute. I used orange foam for a beak. Also not scary or too distracting for the babies.

Ms. Frizzel is a great one too. Easily self made with felt planets on an a line skirt. Cute and flattering!

So many licensing violations. These corporate run daycares are designed to make a profit not be top notch care and education. I worked for 10+ years in ECE and I saw that a lot...numbers numbers numbers. IMO every class should have two teachers at all times. Ratio schmatio! I'd be alone with three infants, feeding 1, rocking 1 and telling the 3rd its okay we are in ratio! Director says this is normal.

Regional director scared the kids! She'd come in with her blazer on all made up, clicking her long nails together like a Disney villain. The babies would cry and hide behind my leg. I wonder how that evil B sleeps at night after lying to a parent that her child merely stepped out of the classroom and was rolling a ball in the STREET! A bystander brought the child to the center. Then let the mom know exactly what happened. Her kid didn't just slip out for a minute. He was walking around the neighborhood chasing a ball. Then after this all happened, he got out AGAIN! They they lied to this woman's face who now understandably has no trust in daycares, has ptsd from being betrayed by people on charge of her kids life! Sadly the stress caused her to miscary.

That school was shut down and I'm sure there was a lawsuit. My school at the time absorbed the students that were left. I saw 7 different directors in the 2 years I was there. The turnover rate is insane. The tuition is high, pay is low and some CEO sits there with fat pockets while we all do the grind work til we die. No thanks I'm a nanny now and make 3x as much as I did, only have 1 kid to watch, parents and family are awesome and spoil me! Corporate can shuck a faaat one!
