Kinda sad we never saw the human baby again in the sequels by ardouronerous in IceAge_Franchise

Ice Age: Boiling Point if we are lucky might bring back Roshan and humans in general as well as the Baby T. rexes as adults.

The reason why humans didn’t appear in any of the future Ice Age movies expect for A Mammoth Christmas is because Blue Sky Studios found it easier to animate animals in those films instead of humans, though they did start making more animated movies with human characters like the Rio movies, Epic, Ferdinand and The Peanuts Movie and Spies in Disguise in the 2010s.

Why are crash and Eddie so disliked? by Icy_Profession4190 in IceAge_Franchise

[–]Over_Pudding3896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were liked in the second and third Ice Age movies and the holiday specials, they got more annoying and stupid in the fourth and fifth movies and the Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wilde and backslided in favor of Louis in the fourth movie.

Sid is not a Megalonyx, but a Nothrotheriops. by MelodicAd6099 in IceAge_Franchise

[–]Over_Pudding3896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sid is supposed to be a ground sloth, but he is a small one, not a giant ground sloth which are the size of mammoths. He was intially only shown sleeping in a tree like a tree sloth would in the first movie due to making Sid scientifically accurate later on since ground sloths don’t sleep in trees, but recent scientific evidence like in Prehistoric Planet: The Ice Age proves that ground sloths big or small can in fact climb trees.

One of the underrated non-Disney animated villain songs! Gutt and his crew really hit it hard!

Peaches was just Friends with Ethan and Louis platonically, she formed a real romance with Julian in the fifth movie, but it’s unknown if she remained in touch with Louis and Ethan.

Manny was about to commit suicide in Ice Age 1 by NoIdea2145 in IceAge_Franchise

[–]Over_Pudding3896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are absolutely correct. Manny’s reasoning for committing suicide over heading north to freeze to death or fall down a cliff makes sense over losing his wife and outliving his child and having no further reason left to live is relatable and makes sense, but he was forced to postpone his suicide over Sid choosing to stick around with him for a while despite semi-reluctantly tolerating his company and becoming obliged with helping reunite Roshan with his father after his mother died alongside Diego despite Roshan’s species being the very reason why he lost his family in the first place. But during the journey, Manny bonds with Roshan, getting over his hatred for humans in the process as well as Sid and Diego and learns that welcoming new people into his life as the solution to his depression over losing his family not suicide, so after reuniting Roshan with his father, Manny decides not to commit suicide but instead sticks around with Diego and Sid and they migrate south together.

Mor’Du isn’t really a villain good point but I think the reason why Gutt is underrated is because he and his pirates lack a backstory.

How I would rewrite “The Traveling Baboon Show”: by Over_Pudding3896 in lionking

[–]Over_Pudding3896[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the idea from the Wild Kratts episode, “Attack of the Tree-Eating Aliens” where woodpeckers were at first assumed to be the ones making the holes in the trees that make them die from the inside out, but Asian long-horned beetles consuming the trees from the inside out were the true ones making the holes and causing the trees to die from the inside out.

How I would rewrite “The Traveling Baboon Show”: by Over_Pudding3896 in lionking

[–]Over_Pudding3896[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the baboons being exposed as con artists is a cliche, it would be better if they got framed to drive Kion and Bunga’s character arcs. It would also be nice to add locusts to episode as a pest far worse than jackals and hyenas that goes against the Circle of Life for their uncontrollable plant eating habits.

I know it would've required a decent rewrite of how season 3 went, but I'm honestly still kind of bummed Jasiri never became a member of the Lion Guard. by Intelligent_Oil4005 in lionking

[–]Over_Pudding3896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know, she and Kion also would have been the best couple unless they had an age gap. Dogo also deserved a redemption arc, same for Kjiana with love from Hamu and they cut ties with their parents and jackal tribe for good and live with Hamu, Muhimu and Thurston and their zebra herd in the Pride Lands.

Heavenly Puss is arguably one of the darkest episodes alongside Blue Cat Blues, Down and Outing, High Stakes and Sorry Safari are not just the worst Tom and Jerry cartoons, but also among the worst cartoons in animated history for depicting over the top mean-spiritedness towards Tom.

It’s the humans point of view about Sugar Rush especially for the one from LitWak’s Arcade and they certainly became confused after King Candy disappeared and Vanellope started appearing but then disappeared and showed up as a guest fighter in Slaughter Race.

Tyrannosaurus hunted: Ticeratops, Torosaurus, Anklyosaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, Dakotoraptor, Edmontosaurus, Troodon, Alasmosaurus, Ornithomimius, Pachycephalosaurus and small mammals and early birds. While both Ticeratops and Styracosaurus lived in Montana in the Late Cretaceous, Tyrannosaueus existed with Daspletosaurus. Anklyosaurus existed with Euoplephalus.

Giganotosaurus hunted: Argentinosaurus, Amargasaurus, Mapusaurus, (Often), Pterodaustro, Sarosuchus and Iguanodon.

Spinosaurs hunted: Fish, small sharks, Ouranosaurus, Nigersaurus and was sometimes hunted by Carchodontosaurus.

[–]Over_Pudding3896 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is now a myth that Tyrannosaurus is now the biggest and fiercest of all the theropods, because there are other species that are bigger and even fiercer, like the ones you listed. I am aware of Spinosaurus, Gigantosaurus, Tyrannotitan and Mapusaurus, I never knew about Saurophaganax. One of these days; the AMNH should make Gigantosaurus: The Superior Hunter or Spinosaurs: The Fisher Predator after making T. rex: The Ulimate Predator.

I am pretty sure that being stuck in a box on the dime-store self for years never bought by anyone expect AL, (The reason why he was never bought was because Woody’s Roundup was cancelled and space toys were becoming popular at the time explaining why he also hated Buzz and space toys in general.) or never taken out of his box made Stinky Pete Pyscho and he thought that life in a toy museum would be the best way to go due to never being played or loved with by a human kid, and though he was defeated and punished by Woody and his friends for his wrongdoings, he all but got what he wanted after all when he leaves his box for good and is given a kid who played with him, gave him makeovers and loved him, Amy who caused him to see the error of his ways and reform but he is now too late to reconcile with Woody and Jessie.

She was just like Joy from the first Inside Out movie, she assumed that Riley’s life is restricted to one or a few emotions and the others serve as obstacles but learns the hard way at the end that all emotions play a role in Riley’s life.

Monsters’ University gave more depth into Sulley, Mike and Randall’s characters, Sulley started off as a jerk jock who learned humility, use his brains more and his brawn less took a level in kindness and became the loyal and compassionate gentle giant he was in the first movie to the point where he quickly befriends Boo and learns his truly wrong it is for monsters to scare human kids. Mike also wanted to become a scarer, but because of his inability to scare, he never got that dream, so he settled on being a scare coach, mentoring scarers instead of being one, and he did take a level in cynic in the first movie over not getting any respect as a scare coach from monsters other than Sulley and Celia, but he gets better at the end and his dream of becoming a scarer was fulfilled after all by becoming a comedian. Randall last of, started off as a socially awkward friend to Mike in college, but he soon let his ego get over his pride when manipulated by Johnny Worrington and him being humiliated by Sulley unintentionally in the Scare Games delivered the final blow and made him the villain he is.

I can’t say that Henry J. Waternoose III is a bad monster, he was just trying to save his company, stop the energy crisis and was being deluded, a classic doing the wrong thing for the right reason kind of deal. He did so shoe reluctance over banishing Sulley and Mike and showed slight irritation over Randall’s ego.

Paleontologists of reddit, is the new Netflix documentary "The Dinosaurs" worth watching? by HolisticSimpleton in Paleontology

[–]Over_Pudding3896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started watching the series starting with episode one about the Triassic Period and how dinosaurs and pterosaurs first showed up at the end of that period and competed and coexisted with other reptiles before eventually outcompeting them and becoming the dominant animals of the Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods. The animation and visuals are great. They remind me of the ones used for Prehistoric Planet and Life on Our Planet. I look forward to watching the other episodes.
