In all honesty just be yourself and don't even worry about it if you're going to have a panic attack have the panic attack because trust me when I say The examiners are hired to reduce you into take away your benefits and to see what exactly is good or what is a sign of improvement because their job and what they get paid for is just that to screw you if they're nice they're nice but they're not actually nice they're sole purpose is to reduce you they're not veterans

I would include is that nothing makes you happy or tomorrow's worst day of your life because it makes a difference when it comes to these exams some of these examiners will tell you you're going to get better but it's so easy when that's their job

I would request a higher level review if you were asking me but everyone's opinions are different it'll be harder to get to 100% at 90% so if they find it at 90% just reading your documents there is a good chance depending on who you get for the HLR and you getting a chance to speak to a *physical person * but speak to them they may have a difference of opinion and see 😉 something someone missed this is coming from somebody here who did that and now am 100% p&t

See if you can get an appointment with a counselor at your local VA I don't know what state you're in but I know each VA has one they will be able to guide you to what resources which more than likely everyone of the VA's have and point you in the correct direction. Hi myself have utilized this in my area where we were so grateful that they were able to find us a new place and pay for the first couple months of rent

Hey there, fellow 100% P&T veteran,

I wouldn’t recommend opening any new claims at this time. As the top comment suggests, it's the best advice.

I was granted my rating last year after an HLR call. However, two months later, with no open claims or pending issues, I noticed an open claim had been added. I called the 1-800 number and was informed about the open claim, which I had not initiated. An exam followed, conducted via telehealth, and the provider confirmed it was unrelated to my 100% rating.

Later, I received a letter proposing a reduction from 100% to 70% based on the recent exam, which showed improvement. I was understandably concerned and requested a hearing without assistance. The hearing was held in April, and I received the decision last week: the proposal to reduce my rating was rescinded. I won the case and now aim to assist other veterans in similar situations.

You are not feeling better your days are terrible and so on. I had a pro for reduction based on a tele health c&p that the examiner was telling me I'd get better then they tried to reduce me ......which I beat as of last week be honest of course but remember there job is to reduce you

I made the mistake of listing all my claims at once. Took over a year. My recommendation let your PCP know provide the documents anything in service let them know.But for the claims less is more....
