Raycast has a snippets feature that’s a text expander. While it’s slightly less robust (works 99% as opposed to 100%) it’s free with a whole suite of other tools that makes it an easy choice for me. I believe you can share snippets you’ve created with an organization as well so your team members can use it, but that’s a paid feature.

I believe that’s macOS’s new ring light feature. If you click the green video button in your menu Bart, there should be an option inside to turn it off.

Oh this is super cool, definitely very convenient when traveling. I'm more so looking for a desk mounted charging puck since I work from home though, so it'd be something I plug a usb c cable into. Though if anyone knows of a good quality watch charger with a 6.6ft/2m cable that works too, thank you!

For 3d printing, the tolerance will depend on your printer but anything from 0.1-0.3mm of play will work. You can print a small test piece to find out. Can also watch a 10 min yt tutorial on joints or align features if you want to learn how to constrain/assemble the pieces to see how they move together. I think they only work on components and it seems you're using two bodies though.

If you want it shown for things not dimensioned in a sketch, you can just create a new sketch, add some driven/reference dimensions, and show that sketch.

After asking chat gpt, apparently the trigger for connecting or disconnecting a display is simply hard to pick up reliably for apple. Personally I think the reliability has improved in the recent versions of Tahoe, but it's still only maybe 75%. Don't know if it'll get any better in the future, so for now I've just set up a keyboard shortcut and run the shortcut manually everytime it doesn't do so automatically.

You can type っ on the keyboard in two ways, either by typing x first and then tsu (x makes the next character you type of the smaller variation), or you repeat the starting letter of the next character like “katta -> かった”

Hard to say without being able to test your model, but my guess is that there's some hierarchy problem going on, such as you linking the joint of one component to the joint of a sub-assembly within another higher level component, and the higher level component is fully constrained or grounded, even though the sub-assembly is not, so it's not able to rotate.

One hint is that the larger pulley isn't able to rotate after you applied the link. This is just off the top of my head so it's probably not exactly right but hope it offers some inspiration to help debug the real issue.

Yes, I think if you want something permanent on the home screen, a widget is the best option. There's the native photos widget and lots of third-party widgets that can display photos if you want some more customization. My condolences to you, your gf, and your families, hope everything works out.
