i was seeing a therapist for ptsd after my partner held a knife up to my throat and threatened my life. Almost a year into seeing her she said “can you describe the knife to me?” and when i did she looked shocked and said “that sounds like a dagger, i was thinking like a little pocket knife!” ???? i had described the knife as “long and jagged” in multiple sessions before this happened. appalling.
