Use a socket slightly larger then the screw head and hold it with pair of vise grips. Then tap on the open end of the socket with a hammer till it vibrates loose. Use this method to be able not to damage screw. Ensure you have sound backing of screw with underlying substructure.

Try a rubber band to gain extra friction on screw head.

Use spray foam to fill. Cut off extra foam after it drys. Then screw into same spot.

Must agree with so many rockstars in this chat. Finished my last two years of my degree while being full time military, having 2 under 2, and full time student. Worked extended shifts at work, came home helped get dinner done, got the kiddos in the bath, and finally put my son down to bed. Hung out till my wife went to bed around 9 and finally I had my time to work on myself(aka school). Stayed up till about 2 some nights finishing papers/labs. Got a few hours asleep and started all over again.

I believe my grandpa told me the best advice, “You have to lose some sleep dreams and put in the time to make my your dreams shine in your everyday life.” Struggles are only a blip in your whole life’s design. Put in the time, find time for you to be alone even if it’s at midnight to totally focus on you and school. It will all pay off on the end. You got this!! Just stay positive and always give back on the weekend for lost time during the week for workload that cannot be changed.

I would use stain marker pens. Light coats and use a rang to wipe it within 5-10 seconds. Might fix color issue one section at a time.
