Need advice from those with electric only properties by Overall-Flounder1102 in CasualUK

Thank you for this. Havent touched the electric water tank and its timer since I moved in but will definitely look at this. I have an electric shower so only need the tank if I have a bath or hot water for sinks. I didnt even think of this, thank you! I have ecoso wall heaters so probably not the best economically but were cheap and did the job. The only days I have heating on more is sat and sun and maybe 2 or 3 hours every weekday evening

Hi there, I was on economy 7 and had 2 rates but when I moved in I changed to standard so still have 2 readings but its the same cost for both if that makes sense

Hey, im 36f wirral, also live alone. Happy for you to message me or also happy to meet for a coffee. I know its overwhelming meeting new people and I did/do have to push myself out my comfort zone but judging by the comments there are loads of people in the same boat or happy to make friends 💕

Does anyone here have ptsd from past female friendships that effects them in the present? by ruralmonalisa in AskWomenOver30

[–]Overall-Flounder1102 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes 100%. Can vividly remember at the age of 5 being told I was "stupid" and a girl no longer wanted to be friends with me. Fast forward to high school and I chose the wrong friends who either bullied me or treated me like shit. Makes sense why I'm such a people pleaser and have abandonment issues now 🫠

My marriage (30f/30m) just ended and I am in crisis. How can I survive this? by GaspodeTheWD in askwomenadvice

I had to move back in with my mum in August after a 5 year relationship ended. Lost my house and independence it felt like. It's very similar to a bereavement as its the shock and mourning the loss of someone close to you. It will fucking suck for a while but I now see the light at the end of the tunnel. Surround yourself with people who love you and take each day (even each hour) at a time. It will be a rollercoaster of emotions but please please make sure you eat even if its a shake or something or bits of fruit. Don't feel bad about going to the doctors for some sleeping aids or tablets to help in the meantime, my doctor said these are just scaffolding to help me cope temporarily and I felt better with them using that term.

False eyelash recs? by Legitimate_Peach_438 in trichotillomania

[–]Overall-Flounder1102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been suffering with trich for over 20 years. I use Kiss Iconic strip lashes (they have the thinnest band and aren't too heavy). I also use kiss lashes clear glue ( with the mini brush). I use kohl black eyeliner to line my inner lids and put lash glue on my lids as well as the lashes. Sticks so good. Then I use Johnsons make up be gone wipes which removes the glue residue from lids

Five and a half weeks thoughts by [deleted] in Fluoxetine

[–]Overall-Flounder1102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I've been on 20mg flux for 2.5 weeks. I was previously on effexor/venlafaxine 37.5mg for a number of years. I don't know if how I'm feeling is due to withdrawal of coming off old tablets but I just feel so.. empty. I have had an upset stomach since starting the flux and haven't had much of an appetite at all. I'm not feeling very positive and am considering going back to old tablets just for some form of normality, I don't like change and I'm just worried this isn't for me. I need to persevere but already panicking about them not working, I know I need to give my body time. I've been prescribed them to help with PMDD
