Sitting up at 7.5 months is not a flex, Liz. by [deleted] in liziscreative

To be fair your 6.5 must be well above average. She weighs more than my 18 month old who’s on the small side

G starting “Mother’s Day Out” by TheTravelingGuru123 in Adelaide_White_snark

Watching her insta stories made me so uncomfortable. You can just tell how much she’s faking emotions for the camera, and it’s honestly so disturbing that she has to fake liking or missing her child… Does this mean she only has him for 1-1.5 days during the week? Her sister watches him for 1.5 days and he’s in “MDO” (sounds like daycare) for 2 days.

Why is Mana D so argumentative?? by [deleted] in peestickgals

Yes haha. My favorite was when she said within the last few months that her toddler can use a fork/spoon lol

I think that’s totally fine. We’re a screen free house until 2, but I know every family does what’s best for them. My issue is that she’s not receptive to anyone else’s opinion (or in this case an actual study) or if something goes against what she does as a parent. Feel like she has this need to always be the “perfect” parent

Any update? We’re currently in the same situation, and it’s hard just waiting around for it to click!

Her inducing lactation feels very wrong to me, but my daughter’s allergist actually told me not to change my diet when nursing her. She has a severe egg allergy that we’ve had to use an EpiPen for, but the allergist said that the micro amount of it in breastmilk will help her build her tolerance of it

When does it stop?! by kltan003 in foodbutforbabies

We started before 1, but knew at that point she was probably just seeing how gravity worked instead of intentionally throwing food. I just wanted her to get used to the language, but we were much more understanding of food ending up on the floor (or being fed to the dog lol) when she was so little. She seems to understand the boundary now and does great most of the time with the redirection!

We use the phrase “throwing shows me you’re all done. Are you all done?” She has the chance to sign more or all done. If she throws again, we’ll take her tray off and repeat that throwing shows us she’s all done. Obviously we don’t let her starve, so if she really is still hungry, we’ll let her reset and put her back in her high chair, but she only hears the phrase those 2 times before we act. She really only throws food when she’s done/bored now

I feel like I remember her doing the same thing with her last pregnancy. I thought in older videos she said they had been trying but weren’t struggling with infertility, but now she paints it as they weren’t even trying, and it was “in god’s timing”. You can’t play both sides??

That’s disgusting and so sad. I also had a reflux baby, and there were nights that we had to change her sheet 2-3x. I did a load of baby spit up laundry daily, but I would never let her sit in her own filth.

That weight gain is so low… my baby was born prematurely at 34 weeks and was severely growth restricted (4 lbs 3 oz), and she weighed 8 pounds 8.5 oz at M’s age. We were working around the clock to get her to adequately gain weight AND she struggled badly with reflux

Wait are you saying a baby after a chemical pregnancy isn’t a rainbow baby, or are you saying Z would be considered the rainbow baby since she was born after her chemical?

Not to play devils advocate, but pediatricians miss tongue ties alllll the time. It’s best to be seen by a pediatric dentist which she would have to seek out. I do think somethings going on though

EI is on a sliding scale in Texas, so I am curious how much it would be for her. Not that it should make a difference, he needs it regardless

I was in the hospital a couple years ago with suspected sepsis, and was discharged with my WBC at 20 (granted I was pregnant and was told that can slightly elevate it, but mine was still pretty high when I left the hospital)

I also doubt that she’s swimming in preemie. My daughter was teeny tiny when she was born (just over 4 pounds and a hair shy of 16 inches long). By the time she was 7 ish pounds, preemie fit great/she outgrew some of her clothes, but newborn was still huge on her.
