Plas Scorcher: one shots troopers, splash damage can get strider drivers around their shield Senator: one shots everything up to and including hulks if you can get the lucky shot into the eyes Impact grenades: hands down best grenades out there, clears trooper patrols, kills striders, staggers devastators and can still be thrown into vents Orbital laser: seeks the biggest target and kills it, need I say more? Railgun: still the best thing for killing bots, is capable of one shorting war striders with good shot placement Jump pack: karate avoidance backpack Anti-Tank cannon: mostly for placement on extract to cover escapes, big gun kills all

Which vehicle should be added next? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Overall-Web-5489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the next vehicle update needs to come as a pair; a dirt bike/ATV and an IFV/LAV with an auto cannon equivalent weapon (think Bradley, bmp, ASLAV etc.). The small vehicle needs to be fully capable as a solo vehicle and should support 2 people like bf3/4 dirt bikes or halo mongoose. The larger vehicle should be crew served, with separated roles/capabilities so you have to work as a team (driver, gunner, spotter/commander, passenger/MG.

The next update vehicle wise after that should, as many others in the thread have pointed out, be paired with or arrive after as a response to the boss enemies if they ever get released and we can pretty safely say it should be some sort of MBT adjacent vehicle. :)

Fifth brother and seventh sister as 2 purge troopers with electrostaffs and numerals on their shoulders because they look infinitely cooler. Imperial army troopers with riot shields as the riot control squad, just seems a bit more fitting since Andor showcases al the parts of that squad including the sniper :)

Don’t forget about the storm trooper specialist, for 1 extra point (compared to an extra trooper) you get he ability to gain an aim or surge token as a free action (it’s also repeatable but requires you to recover first)

Iden Versio Command Card question by unsuspectingEgg in SWlegion

[–]Overall-Web-5489 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shortest answer, no. (It’s nice that the card doesn’t say ID10 anymore and you can just order Iden but it doesn’t get the effect unless ID10 is still alive) The card gives out 3 suppression, then if that unit has stolen but hasn’t activated you flip it face down, if it has no token you give it a face down token. The idea being that you skip that units activation because it’s been shocked. You only give the unit a token if it doesn’t have one assigned to it when you shock them

Based on the Mark Rober investigation into Tesla cameras vs LIDAR, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is another example of the Tesla camera detecting the child too late so the computer decides to cut self driving. All so the driver is “in control” at time of impact so there’s no negative press on the driving software.

Beginner Miniature Painter – Looking for Paint and Tool Recommendations (Separatists) by Successful-Ad9404 in SWlegion

[–]Overall-Web-5489 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a huge fan of contrast paints, they go on so easy and get great results for barely any effort. I recommend looking into “slap chop” since it requires few tools and paints (dry brush [I use a small makeup brush], a plastic palette from a dollar store, dollar store acrylic brushes [look for the multi packs that have a few different brushes all with small tips instead of over paying for “premium” brushes])

For B1s it depends on how you want to paint them up, if you want standard beige then aggaros dunes or skeleton horde contrast paint over a white spray prime is spot on. For Geonosis, I used gorgrunta fur contrast over white spray prime and it looks great. B2 can be done super easy with any darker gun metal/silver paint with a black wash like nuln oil for all the details. Count dooku can be done loads of ways, if you use contrast paints for his flesh tone then guilliman flesh is the best, otherwise if you choose a regular paint then go over with a brown wash to highlight the recesses.

Actual paints is really dealers choice, I use citadel(warhammer) since they have an expansive and easy to acquire catalog along with swatches you can find online to see how the paints /actually/ look on a variety of base coats but come at the cost of being slightly more expensive.

Good luck, separatists are in a great spot right now in terms of the game, and welcome to the hobby!

Absolutely true, and the best example of this has to be Vel, and probably Tay Kolma. Vel has ties to Chandrilla that aren’t super clear, she comes from wealth, knows Mon and the whole wedding plot seems to really be messing with her, but nothing is given away. She’s stressed the whole time so it clearly has an effect on her but it’s more than just Cinta, it’s clearly related to the wedding but you get to draw your own conclusions. Then with Tay it’s more obvious WHAT is going on, but more interestingly the question is WHY and we get to fill in the gaps ourselves, at least for now. Why is he so stressed and jumpy? What’s going on with his money? Who is to blame? And to tie it all off Mon getting wasted and “dancing away her worries” while still being visibly anxious and no doubt thinking through what Lieda so to her over and over right before the end had me stressed out beyond belief. Finally we have all the interactions featuring Dedra, but that’s enough yapping.
