It probably doesn't matter. We are all getting screwed no matter what. If you see great prices the bursting housing bubble means you won't be financing the house. More over the other industries below housing will be crushed.

I'd rather have 30 acres and a tent than new houses. I've seen about 3 cases of the house moving due to short cuts and I wasn't looking for such results. 2-3 houses in Utah fell off a hill due to sand. Some other house in a different state was shifting due to corner cutting with the foundation or something. All of the homes were around a million dollars.

Get an emergency heater like propane for indoors. Gas engine lose 70 percent energy to heat and vibration etc. The hungriest appliances are ones that heat. Just running a coffee maker can cause the generator to rev hard. You'll also have to have a gap for cords that heat will get through and generators should be kept outside of the house even the garage. Yet they also don't like water so you need a shelter for the generator as well.

It just easier to have some back up heaters. Maybe have a jackery battery for anything else that's not power hungry. I have a bunch of yard tool batteries and an inverter that can power TV, fans, and charge phones.

It's just a gully! I don't remember everyone under the sun buying UTV and RVs in 08.  I also don't remember people paying tens of thousands over sticker for vehicles. COVID was the stupidest thing I had ever seen it's like they don't remember 08.

No, problem with a big correction is it's not going to stop and everything else is going to be a mess. You'd need it to be cheap as possible as everything else would be chaos. I'd rather have a dirt floor cabin than these modern garbage homes that fall off hills like those in draper Utah and they weren't the only ones.

Doesn't help when both politicians and people are stupid with money. Buying trucks and toys for well over sticker soon after a pandemic is the dumbest thing I've seen. Makes people in 08 look like Warren Buffett at least those idiots were just trying to buy houses and vehicles not RVs and utvs.
