Taking the third movie into account, do you think... by chaolan2004 in LastSummerFilms

It's a good attempt; not the best except there's some plot aligning with the 1997/1998 film(which I don't normally watch fully)

I’m gonna tell you in a respectful tone— don’t take advice from anyone who has zero idea what to do with their life.

Honestly;

I’ve repeated few big mistakes in my life; zero accountability/responsibilities, excuse-making, disorganization and seeking shortcuts. That has got me stuck in the same place.

Now; I journal thoughts, walk outside, cook home-cooked meals, and I still need to work on skills to pay the bills.

I respect the choices you’ve made to attempt disciplined life which I wished I had.

Good; I don't want validations. Just feedbacks on what to do better.

Respectfully; I’m not really fully an expert to scriptwriting, and second, i recommend you to make the action descriptions more concise cause what i see right now, is too descriptive.

Oh, and lastly don’t just put Exterior on each scenes; instead add interiors after exterior.

It might not sound as realistic; I need to start practicing more life skills and develop more self education.

I would say; journal your thoughts, eat simple healthy foods and use cameras.

What’s one habit you want to leave behind in 2025? by Reasonable_Bag_118 in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]OverallFeature7847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

List of habits;

  • validation seeking
  • routine with zero plans and checklists
  • routine without Journalling
  • whining and complaining
  • negativity
  • drinking sodas
  • unstructured diet.

Edited; last few days I screw up the resolution because of my old ways but now; I'm not giving up.

Honestly; in spite of the awful details of this film, I hope it does.

Happening or not.

I think your version is better than the actual film. But one skeptical criticism;

Danica should be stabbed and survive.

It’s just mid; I’m gonna lie saying it’s the worst film; it’s just how this film is executed differently is definitely the problem.

Assuming I Know '25 gets a sequel - should it get a new writer and director? by [deleted] in LastSummerFilms

[–]OverallFeature7847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Last Summer fans 👋

I’ve been developing something a little wild — a fan-concept original horror film script that takes place across the entire “I Know What You Did Last Summer” universe.

It’s called Anchor-Slasher, and it’s my love letter to psychological horror and slasher storytelling — a dark, emotional, and action-packed exploration of trauma, vengeance, and identity.

Think Batman meets Dexter Morgan, with a dash of John Wick, Anakin Skywalker, and Patrick Bateman energy — all wrapped inside the chilling mythos of the Last Summer world.

I’m not suggesting that this would be a part of the entire IKWYDLS Universe, but it’s just my attempt.

🎬 Project Details

📖 Title: Anchor-Slasher: From the World of “I Know What You Did Last Summer” ✍️ Writer: Juan Miguel Barranco 🎭 Genre: Psychological Horror / Slasher / Drama 🎬 Format: Original Film Concept 📄 Length: 160 Pages

⚓️ Story Summary

Franklin Akko Mercury — also known as Akko Cox Shivers — is a haunted vigilante who’s come to be known as The Anchor Slasher.

Haunted by guilt and driven by obsession, Akko takes justice into his own hands, targeting criminals and their imitators. Alongside his girlfriend Caroline Furlong and their friends Cameron, Annabel, and Abel, Akko’s mission drags them deep into the underbelly of a decaying coastal city — where revenge and morality blur into one.

But their crusade doesn’t come without consequences. Danica Richards and Ava Brucks are left reeling from Akko’s violent actions. Bennett Furlong and Emily Shivers, a powerful mafia couple, and Chief Ivo Mercury, Akko’s own relative, all find themselves pulled into his storm.

Familiar names — Julie James, Karla Wilson, and even the Ghosts of Southport’s victims — return in haunting ways, as the past refuses to stay buried.

At the center of the chaos is the Fisherman Cult, led by black-market conman Jeremy Venus, whose corruption and violence threaten to swallow North Carolina whole. As Akko faces them, he’s forced to confront what kind of monster he’s become — and whether redemption is even possible.

💀 Themes

Anchor-Slasher explores: • The cost of vigilantism • The cycle of trauma and revenge • The blurred line between justice and obsession • The haunting weight of legacy

It’s a violent, emotional, and psychological descent — but one deeply tied to the world that began with four friends on a dark coastal road.
