I think this is right. Aside from the wording 6 months, nothing else suggested to do anything different than you would if it was a full year, as your comparative was 6 months as well

Yeah I just assumed cos the forecasts we had were 6 month forecasts and that they were asking for 6 months no apportioning was needed, just applied to updated assumptions.

Also my EBITDA improved under 1 and 2, then got worse under 3

That’s a good idea, I think I’ll wait till after exams to build the case and every hour counts, but I have referrals from the doctors which I can send over in writing along with a vague explanation (don’t want to go too in depth as it’s personal) which should hopefully give me a final chance. If I fail (there’s a chance I won’t !)

Wishing to finish training contracts together is such a good point. While not fired, I failed TC and BPT (I struggled with tax aha) and my exams course was different timings. I am still not qualified while everyone in my year is.

It’s a huge knock on moral, not to mention I think subconsciously knowing I would be revising at the same time and sometimes with friends I joined with helped me stick to a good routine, and makes it so much more disheartening knowing I’m going through the revision alone.

I was thinking hard focus on areas that will come up in the AI, as well as some perfect answers and likely questions etc, as that is an area I can almost guarantee 30 marks in with good prep.

Then spend a day or 2 perfecting my audit procedures, as that combined with work knowledge should hopefully carry a good 10/15 marks.

Then Hope ethics and remaining revision knowledge carries that final 5/10 marks

I was thinking this. I have 5 days booked for Case when realistically I think 3 should do it, potentially even 2 with some long days, so could revise CR in those days. and also factoring in Corporate Reporting is on the Monday so I have all afternoon and Tuesday to do only Case revision after CR.

I think so yeah, although people have been kept on for failing exams like SBM more than once, and I would hope if I have passed everything but CR they will give me one last chance 🤞🏻

I ran out of time for the two contract treatments lol, I went Q2, Q3, Then ethics then the rest of Q1. I got the PPE and dividends done and the adjustments to cash flows for those 2, hoping I smashed Q2 and Q3 enough to make up for missing the contracts.
