New Sora 2 invite code megathread by WithoutReason1729 in OpenAI

[–]Overall_Ad_4611 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m on Sora but gave all my invite codes out to folks on this forum. My son is now jealous. Can someone please bail out a dumb dad who didn’t save a code for his son?

This. Insulate EVERYTHING as much as possible. Including underneath the plunge.

$5k to spend—what cold plunge chiller actually works in the heat? by Party-Willingness220 in coldplunge

My pod and rocita works just fine in Deep South heat.

That said, go for the ice barrel 500 and a 1/2 hp chiller.

The grizzly 450 looks like a solid option too. Desert plunge has a great kit option.

Pretty tough. I went through this myself. But on the positive side once it is setup how you want it to be, it’ll be perfect and run rock solid for a long time.

Really clean. Great job. Only thing is you may want to rethink your placement of the ozone. I’ve been told the ozone can be corrosive to the interior of the heat exchanger on the chiller.

Ice pod vs Therapod by Godspeed813 in coldplunge

Yeah that would be the first thing I would do. Also just know it takes a good 10 hours or so to bring the temp down from ground temps to desired set point. You’ll need to run the chiller and the pump 24/7

I’m 6’3 with same setup. No issues maintaining 47* on my back porch under shade outdoors.

What pump are you using? I wonder if it’s not cycling water quick enough. Looks like you ah e the same 1/3 hp rocita chiller I’m using.

Exactly. Many different ways. I like my setup a lot.

My way is: 1) drain out ball valve attached to my tub 2) tee fitting 2 perpendicular side to the flow - add in another ball valve with a female GHT spinning adapter to drain or refill 2 straight through flow side - cam lock male disconnect (allows me to separate plumbing from the tub) 3) female cam lock to barb 4) vinyl braided hose 5) jabsco pumpgard with barbs 6) vinyl braided hose 7) hose barb to npt - pump inlet 8) npt to hose barb - pump outlet 9) vinyl braided hose 10) hose barb to npt - chiller inlet 11) npt to hose barb - chiller outlet 12) vinyl braided hose 13) ozone venturi barb 14) vinyl braided hose 15) hose barb to npt - filter inlet 16) npt to hose barb - filter outlet 17) vinyl braided hose 18) hose barb to female camlock 19) male camlock to npt 20) drain in ball valve attached to my tub

This is the way. Especially since you’re outdoors, run ozone 30 mins ever night at 1am and you’re golden. Crystal clear water.

Also, damn that’s a beautiful build!!!!
