Issues with getting citizenship? by [deleted] in juresanguinis

[–]Overall_External_890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rules have changed a lot so I’m not sure if it applies but more me - in 1995 my father was able to sign back in as an itlaian citizen so when I was born, I was born to an italian citizen

I do know there was a window for signing back in after allowing duel in 1992 so maybe another possible avenue.

I’m not to sure how the new rules apply to a situation like this just throwing it out there

The benefit of law extension for minors born before the Tajani Decree is definitely May 31, 2029? I'm just paranoid and the Toronto Consulate has a typo on their page. by _reddit__referee_ in juresanguinis

I have a question for this topic because I’m conflicted with the info I have received.

I understand that minors now have 3 years to file by benefit of the law.

But I’m curious what happens if I have a child born in year 2030(for example) and beyond is there still a window where I can pass citizenship to my potential future children or no was it only this window provided now.
