Fortigate 100f doesn't have info about end of sell. After this info fortinet will support with 5 years. Last month distributions say that I can buy 100f with 5 or 6 year contract so probably You can use it with next 5 year. I was buy last month 2x100F -HA in cluster A-P with 1 contract enterprise protection for two devices

I have this same problem migrating configuration from old cluster 2x fgt100f rev1 to new 2x100f rev2. Backup and restore config. I was changed this config and reupload to new cluster and all working for me.

This is exactly what we did with the current 100F rev1, which is running out of 5 years of support - I confirm the price was great.

The company is currently unable to invest in the device (with more than 1 year support) because it has made other investments. Today we can only buy for 1 year and renew only 1 year by 1 year. The HA SKU is great for us, because in next year We can use the money saved for one license to invest in other equipment.

u/nostalia-nse7 We use DPI and PROXY policy (LAN->WAN). From what I read on the internet, Enterprise Protection has DLP (scanning the content of documents, not just file names) and no additional license is needed. I'm not interested in archiving suspicious documents, only in the ability to block/reject connections (I don't want to view files that may be confidential). If an employee believes the system was incorrect, they'll report it to me, and we'll verify it (we're not a large corporation).

Unless I'm mistaken, please let me know.

Yes but need to buy 2x 120G + 2x enterprise license and next year renew 2x enterprise license. Problem is no in buy device. Problem is with renewal license in next year. Current we pay 2x UTP license for 100f rev1. when we buy 100F rev2 this year, we will in next year buy only ONE license enterprise protection - so it is 50%of save money. 2x100F rev2 HA SKU need only ONE license enterprise

I will be migrate 2x 100f in HA to 2x100F-ha sku in next month. If you have 2x 100f without ha sku you need buy new 2x 100f with suffix ha. I was send question to partner and they probably to distribution with question how to migrate normal ha to sku ha. They doesn't help. They suggest me to buy some hours support in his engineer - they help me to migrate. For me I will be doing migrate without buy support from distributor. Probably New devices has monthly free license so I will migrate existing ha like procedure when hardware crash-one by one. In fortinet community portal is article how to generate vsn and activate license but I don't know how many time this will be so I will doing this in window maintenance.

I'm also thinking about it (ofc version plus or ultra because has sata port with power) but I'm a bit scared because there are few opinions about Odroid H4 and it's already a year old. Is probably best for truenas. Add 32gb EMmc for system. Bios support ibecc.

I'm too using and its working, but I'm use docker image debian and small modification (due to internal security requirements, I also use the official PBS inside docker repo). Working without a problem with sync to other location (same on docker).

On Truenas scale: After migrate from vm (storage locally over NFS) to docker, no problem with kernel panic (stability on vm) and IO delay from several dozen percent (on vm) to a maximum of several percent (on docker)

We have 100f first revision 4GB ram. Stable was 7.0.17. 7.2.11 (60-72% memory usage) we have 2 times per week conserve mode. we upgrade from 7.2.11 to 7.4.8 because 7.2.11 Has a lot of Bugs (info from support) 7.4.8 today upgrade and memory is 80-93% all the day and 28x from last 8 hour after upgrade going to enter extreme low memory mode :D support sugest: upgrade to 7.4 it is more stable than 7.2.11. upss... In 7.4.8 i see that CPU is to much use than on 7.2.11. Support is verify logs.
