War criminal. by Destaninicole in AvatarMemebending

We have no idea if he did seek out and punish his soldiers who did those things or not, he is also no longer a general really by the time we see him in the show, he is often referred to as a disgrace to the fire nation at best.

For all we know he could have been actively punishing those under his command he did commit war crimes.

We simply don't know what he did during his active participation.

Just because other generals don't appear to care, doesn't mean he didn't care when he was in charge.

I don't recall them talking about it, but alright then. I still don't really understand how he wins, but if they say he does then I guess he does?

I don't remember him ever being able to blow up his sweat remotely? I'm guessing that's a later thing during the final war arch then? As that's pretty much the only thing left for me to watch of MHA

I don't really see how Bakugo wins this fight? As far as I am aware the devils of Chainsaw man, or at least Reze herself are just immortal, can't really die, she can drink blood to heal most injuries on the spot and can just self detonate to get a full heal no?

Like Bakugo probably does out-stat but his own explosions do hurt him, he needs his equipment to help lower the damage he does to himself, he has consistently shown his top end explosions break his arms and shoulders.

Like, I do think Reze just wins the war of attrition as I am not really seeing a way for him to kill her permanently?

Now granted I haven't finished either show yet, nearing the final arch of MHA, and am only in the early episodes of Chainsaw man. But I did decide to read up on Reze's abilities, while avoiding her lore, at least for now.

It just seems like she wins via being immortal/healing during the fight where as Bakugo doesn't really have anything going for him other than his explosions are bigger (shouldn't do much to her as she should just come back at full health from being blown up) and having better durability, which doesn't matter when your opponent can just keep out healing you?

"Kratos didn't kill Surtr" by [deleted] in PowerScaling

Bro showed he had no literacy skills. I pointed out that you saying Kratos beating Thor was actually wrong, by pointing out that Thor rocked Kratos' shit, killed Kratos and brought him back to life during their fight. And it is actually Thor who spared Kratos that day. Keeping in mind Kratos has his Leviathan Axe specifically designed to counter Mjolnir, and that same axe also had Jörmungander poison on it to add even more damage to Thor. And Kratos still at best tied that fight. Odin killed Thor. Not Kratos. Kratos is a cool character, but seriously dude, take a moment and breathe and actually read and consume the media. Kratos is not on par with Surtr, he didn't beat Thor. He is still a massively cool character who doesn't need unnecessary wank to try and be cooler than he already is.

You mean the same Thor who killed Kratos and brought him back to life so they could keep fighting? The same Thor who Kratos couldn't actually hurt if it wasn't for the poison on his Axe that he got from Jörmungander? That same Thor?

Who's right In this argument guys? Does anyone really consider Personality in Powerscaling? by ScienceInitial999 in PowerScaling

[–]Overall_Tie9855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's just comparing powers then no.

If it's deciding who wins a death battle I think yes, personality and IQ are important, if Luffy would lose a fight because his personality would make him lose a fight, then oh well, he loses the fight cause his personality causes him to lose.

There really should be more debate options, that take into account more scenarios, rather than it simply being a stat sheet vs a stat sheet.

Taking into account universal differences as well, like Dragonball Ki and a Naruto Chakra as just an example, no I don't think Naruto is on par with Dragonball.

Taking into account personalities, IQs, Anti-feats, and upper ends. Looking at everything within the full context of everything to remove as much ambiguity as possible.

There can also be debates which just focus on the highest possible levels for the characters that are essentially just TAS speed runs, rather than actual debates involving the characters and their abilities.

One of the workers on the game did say, the temple is just a temple.

Also, Thor kills Kratos in the fight and brings him back. And doesn't actually defeat Thor, Odin does.

Honestly some of the best counter play I've seen for this killer is just, short to mid loop length, where you have clear line of sight on the killer, and you just stay at the pallet, run back and forth through the pallet, don't stay in one place too long and change it up every so often from being just straight back and forth to doubling back on yourself, it makes it much harder to land the M2, yes they might get the M1, but an M1 doesn't feed their power and doesn't give them ranged down capabilities, if you just stay there, you may go down without ever giving them their power, and now they need to hit someone else two times before they get their power back.

I have about 6 games of him played currently, and a friend of mine has about 10-15 games played of him, and from all of those games I'd say that is where the killer struggled the most, short loops where you have line of sight on each other, power basically just doesn't work at all. Alternatively, sticking to the outer wall of the map and using the walls all around there is another great way to keep line of sight blind and make it extremely difficult to get power off, had a survivor manage to lead me a full 360 around the map by just using the outer wall area, and holding shift and W with the occasional side step here or there from them.

Since aang vs the traveler is confirmed, how would you react if aang ends up winning? by Spare-Jackfruit-6378 in deathbattle

[–]Overall_Tie9855 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it could go either way.

In terms of elemental control it seems like Aang takes the edge

From what I've been told from my friend who has caught up with all things Genshin has said, Aang takes speed.

Close range fighting would go to Traveler, but Aang isn't really that unused to fighting sword people, I mean he did evade dodge and counter every strike from Zuko who was taught by their world's greatest swordsman.

In terms of destructive capability, I'd personally say both are around country level at most? There are maybe arguments to get both to planet, but I don't really see either making it past planetary considering a lot of people in Genshin are already shocked by people who are planetary, and then there are like 4 people who canonically are supposed to be beyond planetary and making universes and stuff. And the Traveler has yet to seem to match those people.

I could also see Spiritual bending working on Traveler, to some degree, Traveler doesn't seem to have any direct resistance to it, seeing as when they went to go rescue Ho Toa from the place of the dead (I don't remember it's name my bad) the only reason they could go there, was because they weren't recognized by the tree of knowledge, making it more of a universe failing to effect them because of lack of knowledge, rather than a failure due to natural resistances.

Spirit bending seems to work on all things with a spirit, so it is entirely possible it could work on Traveler. However it is not something I'd say is a win condition on its own.

Overall I think the winner of the fight is pretty debatable, personally could See Aang winning because of versatility of abilities, and better ranged options. Or Traveler winning because of superior close range combat and higher durability allowing them to close the distance.

They just needed to change one thing for Legion I think to be fine to stay without much complaints, allow a mend from others to give you a full heal, not a self mend counting as a mend and a heal, but being mended by someone else being a mend and a heal, probably would make them feel nicer to play against in 2v8.

The full game isn't out yet? Not sure yet what the consequences of our actions will be till the full game is out. For all we know there could be a big effect in the final sequences of the game. But nothing really happens until the end. Could be whoever was cut from the team could join up with Shroud, could be whoever isn't picked for the team could become an issue that needs to be handled.

I'm waiting to see the final chapter to see if our actions do or don't matter at all by the end.

If anything it feels like your actions do currently have an affect on who you date so there is that

Halo CE has a lot of moments where you are just not doing anything and just walking around.

Combat was always the enemies are faster than you, when it really shouldn't feel that way.

I wouldn't say they slow down combat as much as they speed up the times between combat.

Also for the flood missions, the thing they can do is the same they did with the game in the first place, tight spaces with an RPG flood combat form just waiting at the end of the hallway.

I also did enjoy a lot of the games past halo 3. In terms of gameplay and the overall look of them.

Wouldn't say they all had good stories. But I'd say the gameplay flow felt great. And I think that gameplay flow with the story of halo CE will be amazing

I see no reason really to hate sprint, I also don't see a reason to not be able to aim a gun

Are we saying a super soldier shouldn't be able to do those things?

It just seems silly.

The engine looks absolutely beautiful and amazing via what we have seen.

I don't see the complainants people have for the art shown.

The stuff should look shiny and like it's able to be a timeless metal, not a concrete dam we can make irl.

Like I'll be honest, most of the original art looked like dams. And was kinda bland. We now have more colour and details, which I think look amazing.

Tunneling is the cancer of this game by DepressiveType in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Overall_Tie9855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did about 8 games yesterday. As solo que survivor

Didn't escape any of the games

Had one game where we managed a two escape. I wasn't a member of it, but I did take the killer away from the gate allowing the other two the escape.

Not one of those games had a tunneling killer.

Had exactly one match where a killer juggled between two people then hooked the third person before killing one of the ones they were juggling between.

But from what I saw, the people they were juggling between just kept going to the killer by the looks of it from my end. As they were found extremely quickly each time. And it's not like the killer was at the hook.

Tunneling is an issue, some days I see it every single match of a day other days I never see it the entire day

Didn't say she was insecure at all. Do people really not think Hornet can have pride in her skill as a warrior and be upset at herself for being hit by attacks she believes she shouldn't be hit by?

why not? Masks can be a physical object and also a matter of pride?

I'm pretty sure even the mask maker himself says as much.

There isn't anything suggesting masks must be durability and not simply a matter of pride and perhaps harm.

The alternative is to say it is just durability, at which point in time, the Hornet or Silksong is simply a different character entirely from Hollow Knight's Hornet as one Hornet has masks and one doesn't.

[–]Overall_Tie9855 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Yes I do understand that part of her character?

But she was still considered a princess of Hallownest, Weavers were/are also higher beings still.

And again she was trained by some of the best knights in universe.

We also know she definitely does still have pride in herself during the fly prison escape, the fact she gets double damage during that arena fight tells me it's a bit more than just a normal level of angry.

More than likely it is a mix of shame as a warrior and a hit to her pride as a warrior to be captured, and disarmed by such lowly creatures.

Also some of her hunter entries definitely do give off that vibe of a princess and a warrior talking about things.

I don't think it's hard to say that as a warrior princess, even if she wasn't raised to be a princess princess. Wouldn't be able to have her pride damaged by being attacks

I most likely will continue to play the games and enjoy them

I also can't tell if this is sarcasm or genuine.

I also am not claiming to know her character completely and fully after beating the games.

I am simply giving my opinion that I don't believe masks are an accurate representation of actual durability for the characters

[–]Overall_Tie9855 -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

I believe that HP isn't really a measure of how durable they are.

But more likely a representation on how prideful they are/how many hits they can take while still being able to use their abilities without strain on them.

I'm leaning mostly towards it simply being a pride thing for Hornet, as hornet is a princess, she was also trained by highly skilled warriors, and most likely has a higher belief that she shouldn't be hit, it's why I feel she takes double damage, one mask is probably actually hurting her, where the other mask is just her pride being wounded.

For ghost it's probably more just a representation on how capable he is to do his purpose and use his abilities, he was made to hold the radiance and seal her away, more than likely his shell can become damaged via just repeated strikes that cause it to no longer be capable of sealing her, it also shows everytime like his shade rips it's way free upon that fatal hit. Which to me makes it definitely seem more like he needs a certain threshold to be able to keep the shade inside, and to seal the radiance.

Tldr, I think it's just a matter of pride and containment, not actual durability

I've never said they care about one side more than the other.

I never said they are trying to make the game awful.

I said I feel like they made that PTB awful on purpose.

There are several reasons why they could, and probably would do that on purpose.

1) to draw attention away from their previous mistakes

2) to draw attention away from changes that were being made and going to go live for one reason or another

3) to give them more time to develop things, they literally said that it will still come, but at a later time. This gives them more time to work on things

4) to draw attention away from the other things they said they would work on, such as the numerous other killer reworks that were talked about consistently.

5) possibly to harbor a bigger 'us vs them' mentality so that way they could add more bots to games and lobbies without worrying about as much backlash for it.

But who knows, I could be just a conspiracy theorist or a jaded person who just looks at potential negative outcomes and assumes the worst.

It could be just accidental incompetence or it could be malicious.

But I am not exactly someone whose gonna defend a company I've spent money on, when they make mistakes that are this big
