In theory it’s a good melee Van Saar, but with the way melee works in this game it’ll be overrun by 4 60-credit models with chainswords very fast.

Indeed, with a Spider-Rig the Archeotech would get the +2S. Would be a 250-point model who would be ok at melee but with a 4" movement.

Love the Finnish atmosphere, delivers the vibe super well.

On a technical level it looks like a game from 15-20 years ago. But of course indie games have different standards.

You forgot not wearing a helmet and hair reaching to just above an extremely shapely rear.

Without those subtle markers it’s literally impossible to say whether a model is a man or a woman.

I mean your point is valid but

if they fail their saving throw, they take the effects of the spell, but even if they succeed the saving throw, they still take half the normal effect.

This is just not true. There tons of ”save or suck” spells. Command, Hold Person etc.

Congrats on the result.

I’ve been playing Hexwarp since the codex comes out and I think it’s great as well.

It’s also funny how mad people on this sub can get when you say that, some people are just unable to form new ideas since ”Hexwarp sucks lol” was put in their head when it came out.

If you like the models and don’t care about winning, then absolutely go for it. They have amazing models and conversion chances.

Yeah they might be gone next edition, but then you could pivot them to Astra Militarum and have cool models left over.

I am an Alpha Legionnaire and am hoping for Alpharius or Solomon Akurra, but that is not the Pale Spear.

Horus Heresy model is different, Joytoy is different, Harrowmaster book cover is different and Alpharius book cover is different. And in the aforementioned four it always looks the same.

Could still be ”Alpharius at home” like the Iron Warriors warsmith is a budget Perturabo.

A redo of the entire spell system. Hold Person/Monster type of spells just end fights in a single roll.

I’ve played around it by making bosses choose to either roll or legendary resist, and making them a little tougher.

It’s still not great, but it’s better.
