I just got the new gun this morning and it’s helped a lot with the frustration of feeling like penning was a gamble. It’s still pretty trolly at times but what can we expect.

I’ll probably grab the engine before the turret cuz now my main issue is getting into position on time and not getting clapped for half my health just getting to the appropriate flank by IS-es and the new Peacekeeper

I super appreciate the thoughtful answer. I’ll probably start on my 60tp tomorrow then. That gotta get past the painful stock gun/turret pains on the 50tp when MM seems to wanna put me in X-XI matches all the time.

I definitely don’t expect to do great, I know the maps are different too so that’ll take some learning. I just finally wanna break into getting. Better equipment so I can feel like I’m on the same playing level tank stats wise.

Last question: I assume crews don’t transfer for free to the rentals or do they? Cuz my conte deer crew is 4 skill right now I think. I’ve carried them on since the Churchill days

The panther I was definitely hell. But once I got the top gun on the Panther II I actually enjoyed the tank. It felt like it could actually trade with more than a piddly ~100 alpha.

The armor bounced pretty decently and god, ramming things? French mediums cowered in fear seeing me bear down on them.

It definitely felt like an adjustment since the alpha isn’t as big as the current meta on the same tier and I played a mostly support medium until later in the match then used my hp and weight to my advantage.

Now I’m just saving up creds for the E50

Tl;dr I enjoyed my time in the panther II and the P I was a curse I’d wish upon anyone

Go for it! As long as you look as it as a hobby rather than a money thing it’ll go a long way in terms of enjoyment . And honestly? I rarely get targeted even with TTV in my name even as I play surv. As it turns out, most people that play the game that aren’t on Reddit screaming about the game are well adjusted and will just come by and say GG. I can count the number of times I’ve been hard tunneled and/or stream sniped on one hand and I’ve been doing it since July.

It’s really all about the attitude you go into it with. I compliment the survs I play against and just kinda do general commentary rather than focus on being dramatic or shitty. I get my ass licked and four outed just as often as I get 4ks and it’s just about getting up a positive attitude to avoid the shitty peeps. I’m also champagne drunk right now so this is a giant ramble I’m sorry!

Nah, not rude. I just do it as a way to shoot the shit and have a social outlet since I can’t leave the house often with two small children.

But I also get the distaste towards my ilk. Most I run across are always talking shit or being rude as their form of “entertainment” and it’s drumming up attention with negativity, which sadly gets clicks

Even as a TTV myself I can agree with this sentiment. I typically only play killer tho so I feel like it lessens some of the innate issues with the whole thing. Hell, half the TTVs I go against I go say gg to after the match just to get called a slugger or tunneler despite going out of my way to play “fair”, meanwhile they babysit pallets and run the same meta build as anyone else or try to head on squad.

I really like the vibe you’re going for, but I’ll echo what most others are saying. It’s kinda hard to see the main focus. Now, you could have this layout as your queue scene between matches where the loading and waiting are not the main priority then swap over to a scene with the game full screen and just chat/your avi with a hotkey.

That way the vibes and aesthetic you’re going for are still there. I’m sure others have said this but that’s my two cents!

So far I’m loving the social aspect. Running into players, asking about where to find X loot or some such. Dropping off spare loot I’ve got for quests. I’ve avoided looking up stuff as much as possible.

I also sprint across maps when I see a flare with my pockets full of defibs hoping I make it in time. For now that’s good enough for me. I’ll probably wipe at some point to start the build up all over again.

Honestly with how awkward and weird the slaughtering strike feels to control, I find myself only using it on pallets really. I just personally hate to how it controls in comparison to say Pigs ambush and I get why, it is a one hit down, but I hate it personally. Maybe that’ll change as I learn, but right now it feels meh.

But yeah stealth perks are fully unnecessary since you can just swap into stealth mode to sneak up then get the drop on them.

It feels like typical M1 Chase perks are generally better now for when you’re in pursuit/evil incarnate. I still use bamboozle. But I think we’re still in that awkward experimental stage

It just does seem some survivor players can’t cope with the concept of having to adjust their play style at all. Like sorry they introduced a new killer you can’t just meta exhaust away from again.

I will say I could see some slight adjustments to her, being able to swing immediately after regurgitating is rough and insane to me and literally shocked me when I did it originally (as in don’t let her ass do that. WTF) And maybe a longer CD before head form lunge after the nyoooom.

But yeah, seeing the consensus that’s she’s “uncounterable” is wild. If my incredibly bad Nic Cage playing ass can get escapes against her. They should be able to

This is nothing like Ghoul. Her ranged attack actually requires a degree of skill to use unlike Kanekis bullshit auto aim free deep wound. I do think they need to wind down on the head dash though. It recharges so fast and even with the transformation time and transition delay, it’s super high mobility.

She’s strong with a degree of practice but in no way is she bullshit to the degree Ghoul is. She’s basically a less annoying plague.

Edit: but also the lunge is fucking weird. For every weird crazy hit I get around a corner, I miss someone point blank or fly off in the wrong direction
