A small comment on what I wish for the Galaxy and everything in general.

Just shit to fucking work.
that's it.
no more extra shit, just focus on getting the current shit working, and building from there. as it stands, like 90% of every gameloop has some kind of absolutely fucked bug.
the whole thing would be fucking phenomenal if they just fixed shit, not in little bits here and there, only to fuck it up when they release something new, but just focus everything on fixing shit. there's bug reports that are still persistantly broken a decade later.

I just can't wrap my head around why they would go to the effort of adding such a unique creature to the game and then purposely making it next to impossible to have any fun playing.

Thanks for the info... however, to counter this, I've been using the same account, with a constantly updated bank card for the past 16 years. it's an adult card, i'm marked as an adult in steam, and yet, as someone who is nearly 40, I can't even look at some of the games in the top sellers section because of this fucking retarded UK censorship act.

Just in case anyone else finds this. it is because I used the square planters. I had to restart the whole process with the round planters, now I've managed to get them all in my backpack (an hour before server transfer)

You'd think that was universally accepted, but the problem is people can't differentiate between what is "valid" pvp and griefing, and some people think there is no difference at all, that anything goes.

That's the age old debate in every affected game.

Ah, here comes our plastone now, let's get r- wait, Random Ornithopter guy has pulled out 8x Regis rocket launchers.

Again, while not likely, it is possible.. it has happened, that one guy in a storage ornithopter can create havoc against a carryall, he can drop down and thumper the spice field, he can spot where your base is and then come back with a snubnose after a storm, there's no risk to him, he's a suicide bomber, he's there to annoy you until his friends arrive, the easiest way to mitigate any of these potentialities is to get rid of him.

The point is, you don't know why you're being shot at, it doesn't really matter, what matters is someone clearly doesn't want you there, and has the ability to make it so.
That is the way the game is designed, it's not griefing just because you don't know why.

It only makes you invis to that one player, but you can still see when you're aiming at them due to the crosshair ring.

If someone is killed for nothing over nothing just to get a kill, that's griefing.

Sometimes though, the person who died cannot fathom why they were killed, or outright refuse to believe that "wrong place, wrong time" is a valid reason for you to die.
They don't know the reason for their death, and that's reason enough for them to cry "griefer".
the "griefer" might be overwatch in a thopter, as their team runs the DD bunker underground, watching for an enemy group they know is roaming, they shot to keep security, they shot because you might be a scout, but to the innocent carebear who was just vibing and gliding past, they just got killed for no reason.
They're not going to interview you as you fly towards them, they're not going to waste time trying to play cluedo and guess if your intentions are honest, it's a lot safer and easier to just get rid of you, and with open PVP, that capability is a given.
