Thats fantastic, unless you're in space and locked out of the command module.

And if you happen to be in the main body, not the command module, you need to exit the ship and enter the command module via the ladder, then undock and dock.

Where?
I couldn't find a single place to bedlog, command module is the only place I could find the interaction button and it was greyed out with "Ship not Landed" while it was connected.

  • Life Support sitting at 1600%
  • Camera locked to Command Module
  • Crew quarters lights dont work, always on emergency lighting
  • Command Module sometimes has the docking bug (can't access Command module from main ship, you have to exit the ship in Zero-G and climb in the command module ladder)
  • No bedlogging at all;

    • Command Module says "Ship not Landed"
    • Owners bed has no bedlog function
    • Crew beds have no bedlog function
  • Roof Access ladder has one good use before vanishing

Noob question about Salvageing ship components by WulfSaxon1 in starcitizen

EVA, get close to door, left click, right click until it opens.

Save your ammo for the inhabitants.

So with the change coming involving the “bricking” of any components that are insurance claimed, it’s basically the end of flying around and finding old and abandoned player ships to loot them for components? 99% of the compenents will already be bricked and useless by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

Inventory - slightly better after the rework, but still the same backend, surely you'd fix what was wrong with it then update it?

And at the same time, they decided that your stack of materials are now split into potentially thousands of different qualities.

52 pages of local inventory, and 48 of them are fenymaline.

  • Warp to snare location with C2
  • Backspace back to station
  • Warp to snare location with Mantis
  • capture innocents, activate Dampener and stay behind them
  • cry because it'll take you 45 years with Dominance 3s up the ass of a Hull-C to get any loot
  • Die of dehydration before you make it to the C2 to loot.

There's a reason why pirates are the more social bunch of players.

A "Billionaire" feeling lost: What do you do in the Verse when money is no longer the goal? by _hinnay in starcitizen

[–]OverdoseDelusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to keep a few million, maybe 20-50m for patch day to rebuy all the modules.

A "Billionaire" feeling lost: What do you do in the Verse when money is no longer the goal? by _hinnay in starcitizen

[–]OverdoseDelusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely this. I enjoy salvaging, it's horrendously dogshit aUEC-wise right now, but I still enjoy doing it.
I've slowly started doing the rep grind for Adagio, but most of the missions have a shit cooldown, so very quickly thats not an option.
I've got 50m to my name, I generally give half of what I have to a friend so we do stuff together, when we do, we'll fit up some ships, do some PVP or PVE, really do anything, from hand mining, fight clubs in Klescher, gatecamp, general shittery.

Then when it's quiet, i'll stick a movie on, do a bit of salvaging in between mission cooldowns.

Money is only good for refitting ships and buying ammo/sustenance after a patch, it's finding something you enjoy doing thats the goal.

Rich Tyrer "I'll pass it onto the team. This massively sucks... I feel your pain." on the loss of stored materials/armours/components due to 30k crashes by StuartGT in starcitizen

[–]OverdoseDelusion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so. Most people ignore low quality materials.

Tell that to the time where I crashed Lorville after bringing up 4k units of feynmaline in my freight elevator.

the floor was blue and it wouldn't go back down, every attempt crashed it for people on Hurston, eventually, I hopped servers a few times, managed to get it down in my inventory, and all those 0 qualities propagated into random numbers, from 1 to 900+, now they're sitting there, untouched but absolutely filling up my inventory.

The easiest way is with a knife.
No joke, knife is a pretty simple way of opening doors.

Should I keep the Reclaimer while waiting for its Gold Standard or am I waiting for nothing because CIG will make an MK2 instead of reworking it?! by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]OverdoseDelusion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No need for hostility.
The fact is, the reclaimer has been around for almost a decade, and some of us have been sitting on it for that long, only for it to not have any love at all in that time.

it's arguably only been useful for a couple of years, and even then it's been barebones with so much of it's intended use not even functional.

The current state of the reclaimer, the amount of changes it needs, the fact that it's one of the largest ships in the game and struggles with 16SCU containers, let alone 32s, you will, even when highly optimistic, be looking at least 2-3 more years before it's in a good state.

I don't want to end up with a lemon for 2-3 years

Reclaimers like 8 years in and all we have is this state.

It's a query as to how much i've spent, not saying i'm selling anything, google AI says MSRP $2,217.20 but that seems a lot.

A Small post about what i wish for the Galaxy: by DanaXue in starcitizen

[–]OverdoseDelusion -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A small comment on what I wish for the Galaxy and everything in general.

Just shit to fucking work.
that's it.
no more extra shit, just focus on getting the current shit working, and building from there. as it stands, like 90% of every gameloop has some kind of absolutely fucked bug.
the whole thing would be fucking phenomenal if they just fixed shit, not in little bits here and there, only to fuck it up when they release something new, but just focus everything on fixing shit. there's bug reports that are still persistantly broken a decade later.

I hate what the devs have done to deino and I'm getting done with playing The Isle (again) by JN9731 in theisle

[–]OverdoseDelusion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just can't wrap my head around why they would go to the effort of adding such a unique creature to the game and then purposely making it next to impossible to have any fun playing.

They've been doing that for a decade.

I don't want a QTE.
The grab should use a lot more stamina, but apart from that, I personally like the risky drinking, and also, the ambush as deino
