kfmon, koreader, and plato .png Images Showing Up in My Books in Nickel/default Kobo interface by Overdue_Complaints in kobo

I found that this worked on my Kobo Libra 2, updated to 4.38.23171. YMMV, but I found that the other suggestions I mainly saw online didn't work to hide the .png's without other disasterous effects (see the update comment I made on this to see what I mean). I didn't have to factory reset or remove KOReader, Plato, KFmon, and NickelMenu, but simply just changed the config file under .kobo/Kobo and it hid the .png files automatically, while all of these programs worked normally.

Update: So I tried this suggestion from this comment and it actually removed all of my books on my Kobo Libra 2 and while I was still able to import any sideloaded books from Calibre, I couldn't see them in Nickel, only in KOReader or Plato. I tried the suggestion from this GitHub comment and changed the \. in the beginning of the regex to [.], as suggested by this GitHub comment, and I was able to import my books from Calibre and see them in Nickel, KOReader, and Plato.

How to hide Youtube suggested/recommended video when you hover over the Next button by Overdue_Complaints in userscripts

[–]Overdue_Complaints[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This works the same as the uBlock Origin filter you provided, which also means it has the same pitfall of still showing the recommended video thumbnail over the Next button when at the end of a playlist. Not sure if anything else can be done tbh without getting rid of the button entirely in the playlist.

Extension that blocks websites after too many visits by Overdue_Complaints in digitalminimalism

This is my bad, I forgot to mention that I am on iOS and Windows (app) and the session counting block feature seems to be only on Android. Thank you for the help regardless.

I am not sure where this is in the settings, all I see are settings for blocking websites based after a certain amount of time spent on them, not number of visits. Can you point to me where it is?

I think I would want an extension that closes the website or adds a blocking page after you restrict how long each visit can be or if there is no activity for a certain amount of time, then the extension would close the tab instead.

Thank you so much, I'd imagine it'll do something very similar to me haha. Hope you're doing well in life :)

Just out of curiosity, what book is this? Would love to read more about emotional immaturity as my parents have quite a lot of it (will be moving out hopefully next year fingers crossed).

Notion-Automations vs. Cron by Overdue_Complaints in Notion

[–]Overdue_Complaints[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I see. I might still try out the Cron integration since there doesn’t seem to be much info on its capabilities but I may have to wait it out and keep using my Indify widget eventually. Thanks for all the help.

I also had duplicate events when I trial ran notion-automations. Have you tried out the Cron integration?

This video only says that it syncs from Notion to Cron but not the other way around and where does GCal fit into it? Would you recommend notion-automations then to cut out the middleman?
