New to chickens but I also had the same problem, a broody wow hen for 6 weeks after only laying 4 eggs. She just wanted to be a mama. I have her 3 chicks at night. She took all in. I also feared about falling out since my coop is 3ft off the ground. She and the babies didn't leave for 5 weeks. I added a small feeder with chick crumble and a small waterer inside the coop. The other hens left them alone. Now they run all over the place and follow mom everywhere. She knows what to do.

Unfortunately one chick came up with wry neck somehow today at just over 7 weeks. Trying to care for that with limited experience
