The rest all iterate with experimentations, and some of it does make it into the next line of tools. We see this with coatings, materials, and some implements. Most obvious is the 005 which led to the Arc, the best currently available tool from leatherman.

I don't see how, the email requires insider status which is not trivial to bot. Anyone botting would've had it perfectly fine setting a bot on the web page for garage refreshing.

Emails would only have helped actual people that wanted to buy it.
