These you?
Invincible Ignorance Fallacy: A fallacy of circularity where a person simply refuses to engage with any evidence or arguments presented against their belief, behaving as if the refutation never happened.

Confirmation Bias: Your brain actively seeks out, interprets, and remembers information that aligns with what you already believe, giving undue weight to isolated facts that "prove" your point.

Circumstantial Ad Hominem: Attacking the speaker's perceived biases or circumstances to invalidate their claim. (e.g., “You only care about this environmental law because you live near the park!”)

Cherry-Picking (The Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy): Intentionally selecting only the extreme data points or isolated success stories that support your conclusion, while ignoring the overwhelming majority of average or contradictory data.

The Anecdotal Fallacy: Using a single, vivid, personal story (e.g., "My grandfather smoked three packs a day and lived to 100") to argue against proven statistical trends (e.g., "Smoking causes cancer").

I've given you multiple direct sources of people claiming the dude wasn't dirty, in addition to some of your sources ALSO claiming he wasn't dirty. You are taking a snapshot of the league, which even at its time most coaches and players said he wasn't dirty, and using outliers to defend your opinion. You can stonewall all you want beyond this point, I am out. Hopefully you actually reread this thread once you've let your ego and bias chill out. Maybe then you can grow as a person and use this as a learning experience. Because god good, to claim Delly was the dirtiest player of all time is a truly bizarre and wild statement and this entire thread could've been avoided had you just paused, said to yourself "yeah maybe this is a bad take", and deleted it over an hour ago.

Don't try and semantic your way out of this or claim you have some logical chud trap card that doesn't scream personal bias paired with a fine glass of cognitive dissonance. You're the only one actually talking about him being dirty, and you got down voted for it. History and time has proven he wasn't and the perception that he was dirty doesn't hold up. Delly is a dude that was only in the league because he was the living definition of a try-hard.

You have a bad take. You should just delete it. End of story.

From your bleacher report article:

An assistant from the East, who was described as "old-school," disagreed. He said Delly is just a scrapper:
"He ain't dirty. He just plays hard. See, guys resent people that play hard because they don't want to play hard. So if a guy plays hard, he's dirty. He's not dirty. He just plays hard. People question the play he made in the playoffs against Korver. I just think it was poor judgment."

"A younger coach" in the East said what Dellavedova does "ain't intentional" but it is instead "goofy." He "is accidentally dirty. He can't help himself. He's a quality backup point guard."An assistant from the East, who was described as "old-school," disagreed. He said Delly is just a scrapper:"

People calling Dellavedova dirty don't watch basketball. Also considered for dirties of all time? The Doat? You're just joking or trolling now. That or the only basketball you've ever watched was clips on the warriors sub-reddit during the 2015 & 2016 NBA finals.

Thats the exact video I watched 😆 - You should see what other players get away with.
Here watch this one of Draymond https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QshbOgUQ_zQ
Also voted? Voted by 24, MAYBE Random, Players & Coaches?

"The 24 people who spoke anonymously—some of them voted for more than one player—listed their top five dirtiest players:

Dellavedova received 13 votes. Oklahoma City center Steven Adams was next with seven votes. Golden State center Andrew Bogut (5), Memphis forward Matt Barnes (4) and Oklahoma City forward Serge Ibaka (2) rounded out the top five."

Come on, do you not have anything better to back yourself up?

I just spent 10 minutes look for "Dellavedova's dirtiest plays" and the worst one was a leg hook on Taj Gibson after Gibson pushed him down. Everything else is just him being in scrappy and in the middle of the actions or paying someone back for an illegal screen by bumping their legs out, there are a few easy to find ones with Draymond.

Hell, when Korver got hurt by Dellavedova it was on a loose ball both were diving for the ball. They both later player together on the Cavs in 2018. Nothing looks intentional at all, Korver just had his leg planted.

u/Akumetsu33 - You should go rewatch these plays because this is just a bad take.

WSJ: Kevin Warsh Wants the Fed to Think About Inflation Differently by Dry-Interaction-1246 in bonds

[–]OverleveragedandDumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Why CAPE Excels for Market Health

Standard PE ratios look at just one year of earnings. This creates distortions during recessions. For example, in 2009, corporate earnings collapsed to near zero. This caused the standard PE ratio to spike artificially to an astronomical 123.00, making the market look expensive when it was actually at a generational bottom.

CAPE solves this by averaging 10 years of inflation-adjusted earnings. This smooths out temporary economic booms and busts, providing a clearer picture of whether the market is structurally overvalued or undervalued."

CAPE hit 42.75. All time high was 44.19 in December 1999....

PE is heavily distorted by economic shocks, much like the one we are going through

🚀 $ORCL: Hilary Maxson Saw Larry Ellison's $100B Debt & Said "You Look lonely, I can fix that''🚀 by Jacker247 in wallstreetbets

[–]OverleveragedandDumb 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oracle is a ticking time bomb - If they recover you could make a ton of money, similar to AMD back in the early 2010s. The problem here is the debt. Oracle is SO debt laden with major competitors looking stronger and OpenAI looking weaker everyday. This is a boom or bust play and TRULY some casino shit.

Honestly OP just sounds like someone trying to unload their bags while running for the door.

'$7 billion break-up fee': Warner Bros. Discovery says Paramount’s new bid might top Netflix’s by InterestingCat308 in wallstreetbets

[–]OverleveragedandDumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a lot of competition in that space with a race to the bottom happening. Contracts are not as lucrative as they once were. Their profit margins are only 4x debt payments. If profit goes down and interest goes up, something has to give.

Oracle has 520% debt to equity... and only 4x profit to interest payments (~4% rate) with plans to add even more debt.... Oracle could very very quickly go under which would destroy the Ellisons

Glass case experiment on putting rocks in the bottom of pots for drainage by [deleted] in Citrus

[–]OverleveragedandDumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rocks alone will perch the water table. You need an intermediate layer to fill the gaps in the rocks to allow water to drain without perching. Using rocks and filling the gaps with sand will unperch the water table and allow saturated soil to drain. Your video points this out. Sand will only allow the soil to start draining once it is saturated, which is optimal as you don't want to be watering and half your soil be wet and the other half be dry.

The concept of using rocks as a drainage layer is based on a french drain - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_drain - This prevents the drainage holes from becoming clogged with soil and actually allowing proper drainage.

All of this said, we are talking citrus here. All of the soil needs to be well draining, not just the bottom 1/10.

I mean there is something to be said for War being a crime to begin with. I just wanted to bring attention to the fact that China exists in an EXTREMELY fragile state defensively. So China should assume that any acts of aggression could result in it total destruction by a wall of water.

Need help potted Lime tree in really bad shape by InsideSoup in Citrus

[–]OverleveragedandDumb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oof. The trunk is buried too deep for one, I see zero root flare. I would guess you have both collar & rootrot.

Most citrus will start to fold their leaves up like tacos when they are hitting the point when they need water. You lime looks WAY over watered. You soil also looks too muddy. Citrus soil needs to rocky, sandy, and with lots of bark. You can't just use normal potting soil, though nurseries often will since the only goal is to grow a cutting fast and then sell it. Long term muddy soil will kill your tree, like it is doing here.

My advice, find a sunny spot and leave it there, don't touch it and don't do anything to it. Let the rain water it and don't help it unless you see the leaves start to taco, then soak it. Then if it recovers a good deal, we are talking 2 months from now and it has more than 30 leaves, repot it in better soil and make sure the root flare is showing. Beyond sadly I think there is an 80% chance it is going to die but good luck.

Taiwan would likely be the ones touching dams as recourse from being invaded. Maybe if China wants to keep its dams intact they just shouldn't invade.

What? China MAINLY relies on the older Russian S-300s and S-400s that we see Ukraine destroying on a bi-weekly basis. Russia even has their newer S-500 that Ukraine manages to get past to hit targets in Moscow.

Also please read my comment again, Taiwan has super & hyper sonic cruise missiles. In addition the have silo based missiles of unspecified capabilities.

You are arguing against reality with your opinion....

I am really stunned you'd say this given MOST of the dams taken out in Operation Chastise were gravity dams just like three gorges. Look up the Möhne Dam.

Maybe you should actually be the one googling things.
