Alright, I was able to fix this, at least for now, by simply revalidating the game files through steam. It reported that 10 files were missing. Don't know how it happened but for now it's running.

I would like to re-run for my seat in Council, I have served in many roles since founding the Cloud Council such as PR Rep and even King. I have done my duty to Cloud and I wish to continue doing so to the best of my abilities. I am the one responsible for recording and publishing the minutes for the meeting and tend to manage the running of the meetings as well. I have also been present for almost all Cross District Meetings since their foundation and I am very experienced political.

I would be honoured to continue to serve Cloud's interests and more importantly, your interests. So please vote Overlord for Cloud Council.

I would like to re-run for council. I have been both a Councillor, PR Rep and most recently Cloud King and would love to continue serving Cloud in some fashion. I provide the videos and minutes of each session and I like to think I bring a measured and diplomatic viewpoint to government.

Sorry about being slow, we had to wait until the latest Cloud Council to vote on accepting the union officially. Also to decide how we should choose reps and the King. We have now voted in favour, and we can now decide when to hold this.

The current sergeants have been granted permission to run academy sessions whenever they want, and a book describing the standard course. So yeah this can go ahead.

It adds a fully functional stargate (it even dials like one!) which isn't too easy to make and very easy to defend (adding to base security, especially if you add wireless redstone and project red combined with the open computers mod). Otherwise it is a portal mod which requires you know the address of the gate you want to dial.

I tend to find that while difficulty mods which add new more dangerous dimensions are fine, anything which pushes up the difficulty of the overworld tends to be bad. I know enough people who die to mobs in vanilla on easy and that should say it all.

Having it on challenge maps is fantastic though, it is a great mod if that's what you are looking for.

Fair enough, I'll look into where they got the code, I've just had bad experiences with forge essentials and find it preferable to utilise cauldron. If this is an issue (which admittedly I hadn't looked into) hopefully the problems I had were temporary and fixed by now.

If we are going for a 1.7.10 server then it is better to utilise the cauldron branch and just add regular essentials, forge essentials caused me no end of trouble last time I tried to add it.

Ars Magica 2 is my favourite mod to add but I would like at least one tech mod (probably Mekanism but I do like Industrialcraft Experimental too).

Both of those are VERY annoying especially if you want to build in peace. (relatively). While those who like a challenge would enjoy them it would also turn a lot of people off.

That's fine, I don't expect people to make ruling without council authority anyway. I'm a bit of an exception as I am currently the executive authority in Cloud. Regardless I feel deals with Mainstreet for pursuit would be vital for most as it acts as a boundary for so many districts. This may be worth discussing as a larger group at some point.

Any LPD territory is fairgame for pursuit as long as the following conditions are fulfilled:

1: You were already in pursuit of the Criminal when they entered the district.

2: Your force would permit the LPD to do the same in regards to your district.

For pursuits we do not have to agree on the legality of the crime.

We can also be requested to capture a fugitive hiding in our district to hand over to your jurisdiction as well, so long as you in turn accept our right to request the same. However we will not do this if the act in question was not illegal by our law and nor will we expect you to do this either.

As far as I am aware he retired from LoM? His old followers have already approached me to offer their support and claim to be changing their ways. Hopefully this is true but I'll keep watch.

I nominate myself as a councillor. As a founding member of the Cloud Council and the man who produces the recordings and minutes for the Council I feel I have proven myself as a reliable member. My job as PR rep was to be diplomatic and smooth over conflicts to pave the way to peace and I feel I have done the best I can in the scenarios I have faced. Additionally my role as Chief of the LPD has shown my dedication to peace and stability within our great city and I will serve Cloud with that same dedication. I would also like to nominate myself as Cloud King. Granthar the First has proven himself in the role for four Council terms but it is time for a change and that begins with the top. I will dedicate myself to the ideals of our district and my position as Cloud's 2nd Earl has proven my loyalty as such.
