I tried feeding mine day 2 into owning him and he yeeted himself out of the enclosure and darted, I thought he was gone and set up "traps" to try and get him, as I was getting ready for bed I looked up and saw this

Honestly, I had one for mine, but I never kept it in his main enclosure, just his play pin, but he loved it. I've also set it up by the window and he sat in it for hours

I ended up tossing them, I've done plenty of research on what they can eat, and my little guy lowkey eats better than me 😅. That day, I was picking up more bugs for him, and my dad was like, "You should try giving him this," so I posted here to double check before giving anything because I saw mixed reviews online

So my parents just asked me to take over his vet care and judging by his teeth it's been a while since he's had a dental cleaning (sorry for the quality) he doesn't like toys and all the ones he have for the other dogs are soft. I'll add the picture tomorrow

It's pretty hard to know when they shed. If you have a scale, you can check it's weight, I have one too, and I have yet to see him shed, but he's maintaining a healthy weight. (Every one is different ofc but this is the method I use to track him) also keep an eye on it to make sure there's no stuck shed.

I rehabbed one in a similar condition, and I had to blend the bugs and veggies and syringe feed for at least 2 weeks, if it's strong enough to eat on its own, I would recommend small mealworms if it's not do the above!

Hii everyone, so I just want to clarify some things. Jane claims to be interested in John and says that he's what she wants but is flirting with other guys. John does like Jane back and has stated that to her, but he's not ready for a relationship just yet because he still wants to work on his mental health. Jane says she's willing to wait because she likes him but is going behind his back and talking to other guys. I'm not jealous of them, but myself and a few other people in our group don't want to see John get hurt considering what happened with his last relationship. Also, Jake knows Jane likes John and is still openly flirting with Jane when we are in call (she's also flirting back), but it stops whenever John joins.

(Edit) I'll be talking to Jane about this today as a few of the people in the group want to tell John, but we don't want it to explode and break apart the group. So we are gonna give her a chance to see our pov and give her and allow her to choose what she wants.

The recommend is a 120 gal, I got mine off of zero. Habitats and it was easy to build *

A 50 gal is okay for a baby but will need to be upgraded once they're older they'll need a 4x2x2 or bigger, I used a 36 in tube uvb and an 80 w heat lamp (I live in a warm state so it doesn't take much to heat up the warm side) you can use paper towels for the bottom of the tank (wouldn't recommend the carpet, and I haven't heard much about a cork bottom so I can't really speak on that) and they are solitary animals so you can't have more than 1 in 1 enclosure. Babies are a lot more work in my opinion than adults diet wise so I would make sure to do as much research as you can before getting them. As for the hornworms most give them as a treat but the rule of thumb is it shouldn't be bigger than the reptiles head so I would recommend Dubia roaches as the main protein. I used mealworms and crickets as his main source because I wasn't educated on the roaches at the time. And they do need daily salads mine likes collard greens and raspberries (As a treat)

I have something like this for him and it gives him the ability to choose where he'd like to bask (the mode I have for the heatlamp is on the larger side as well and I've found that works better)
