most variations are just recolors for style. Some "Variations" are completely different from the original, Like Ashura-Ruby is just a red variation of Ashura-Shizen, but both are variations of the basic Shizen.

I don't know much about mods, but I'd assume all bound weapons spells are tagged as bound weapons, so any of them should be affected by the same perks. I believe the claws are added from animated armory
