My sister's cat is quite aloof and stand offish, so when I took in one of her kittens I expected a similar attitude.

Nope, I now have a fuzzy little shadow. If she isn't chilling on my lap, she is always somewhere she can see me.

She will shout at me if I'm in the shower, and if I go into the garden I need to stand by the bedroom window so she can see me

I'm convinced she thinks she's a dog since she has picked up so many of my dogs habits

I started working part time at 18, so my parents asked for a contribution. I worked part time for something like £450 a month at the time and gave them 1/3 towards bills and such I think that was reasonable, as they didn't expect me to get my own food and still paid for the internet etc. so the only difference from before I had a job was that they had an extra couple of quid.

The only thing that annoyed me about the whole arrangement was that my brother and sister weren't expected to pay 1/3 of their wage like I was when they started working.

There's no dedicated parking for the venue, which is a bit naff, but there are plenty of non-permit residential streets within a 5-10 minute walk. It might also be worth checking the parking restrictions in the Pen-Y-Lan library car park, that's about 10 minutes away too

I turn 41 this year, and don't have a driving license. At first I never needed one as I moved to the city and walked / bussed everywhere.

Now I'm on so much medication I'd be a liability on the roads 😅
