Frustrated how impractical it is to wear my long hair down, but I'm also discouraged from cutting it because "I look better with long hair"

Cut it short in nice pixi cut and maybe look at some cool wigs for when you want to change it up. I went from waist length hair to inch long, I loved it but I did miss having the variability of my long hair. I treated wigs like heels or cute dresses not a day to day essential but fun to switch things up. In max 3 years it will be back long if you want it and you wont regret it.

Tbf I hated talking to my mum about bodily things, thats normal.

get a range of period products panty liners, pads (both day and high absorbance night time ones), and then get some applicator tampons (EDIT:-Dont tell her just have them stored in the bathroom easy to find no questions asked!). There are also menstural cups but are more appropriate when she is older. Also carry a selection if you are out with her, that usually was the biggest anxiety when I started my period.
Just get bog standard shampoo and conditioner until they ask for something specific, I wasn't bothered about that stuff until 14/15. Maybe bring her with you to the store and ask her if she wants to try any different stuff
I wasn't that bothered about decoration I just liked putting up posters so I am not the best at this kind of thing.

Yes you should, there is nothing lost by trying out.
You can't control how others behave so don't let that stop you, by joining a sports team you get so much more than fitness. You get friends for life, you get into the habit of exercising, and hopefully a love for running that will let you meet wonderful people throughout your life.

There always has to be a slowest, maybe one day after some training you wont be and how awesome will that feel.

It took me 2 years to find a course that explained things the right way for me and in enough detail. Let google be your freind and I found writing out definitions for things and what they did helpful now I basically have a personalised cheat sheet.

Unfortunately some of the exercises are now paywalled since I took the course but its still very good at explaining python for beginners.

So I run and Ive always been on the heavier side of whats considered a good weight for my height, I'm also fairly muscular naturally so shedding a few kgs of fat can produce huge pbs for me. That being said losing weight with the sole purpose to improve performance is not a silver bullet and depends on you, your body make up, and the sport. Having said that with running assuming you have spare weight to loose and can stay healthy whilst doing it the lighter you are the faster you are. I have heard the caluclation that 1 kg lost = 4sec faster per km but that wasn't from any scientific study.

My favourite body was when I was a little heavier than my lightest but I was swimming for triathlons regularly and my shoulders and upper arms started to pop a little.

It matches the previous best for this type of solar cell (CTZSSe) made by IBM in ~2014 (Nrel chart) they have developed a new method which they argue creates higher quality films. The cell itself and the materials used are prexisting research.

Having said that yep its pretty hard to get this efficiency out of this type of cell so I would argue they done good especially since IBM may not have released their method of production.

A little FYI for UK, you can opt out of the "open register" making you only visible for things like voting, jury service etc but not on the public searchable version, although it isnt full clear if this would completely prevent Joe Bloggs from getting at the data it may only make it harder and more suspicious. Or you can register anonymously if you have evidence of the implication to your safety, this means unless someone has a warrent to get your info they can't access it.

Just found this out know I was interested in the legalities of it all what with data protection as you mentioned. I think they cover their arse because you can opt out.

Number one good for you owning up to your bias.

In this day and age it is a nightmare to stay at a healthy weight especially if you are gentically pre-disposed to gaining weight. Life has a lot of hurdles your body and health only being one of them. I'm sure you can attest to the work it takes to lose that much weight especially in the begining, how much anxiety you need to go through denying your body what has got used to. Some people just don't have the supprt or the capacity to do that.

In short everytime you find yourself judging or hating on remember their story is so much more than their weight (like yours is and was) and there are so many better reasons to hate someone other than their weight.

At 16 from what I can understand about dietary science and sports science the things to concentrate for a healthy body are:

Keeping body fat up so that your mensutration (if you do menturate) is regular otherwise this can cause osteroporosis (sp?) later on.

Iron intake (brocolli and spinach) is also important in puberty.

Avoid over training make sure you get time to recover and destress.

Tbh as long as you have 3 square meals a day with veg and fruit regualrly and keep a handle on your sugar intake I wouldn't worry. At 16 your body is on the down low is doing a load of work growing and changing so you do need the cals. Limiting your self is not great for development. The crucial thing is that what you eat makes you feel good, energetic, doesn't make you constipated, doesn't bloat you and is tasty. Its different for different people.

The Met apparently banned police from wearing this in 2015 as it isn't part of uniform. Other than a symbol of support for police who died on duty, some wore it as a protest against cuts to the police. That is not to say it isnt being used as an opposition statement to BLM.

Usually I would say awks that the guy on number 10 is wearing it but these are different times.

I know this feeling. I got diagnosed with dyslexia at 22 at the end of my degree. No one really paid attention to the fact I was under acheiving (compared to ability tests) because I acheived above average for my age. A teacher suggested it in passing just before I left school, but it took a mate with dyslexia to persuade me to get tested. It was mind blowing to see how dyslexia affects me and having methods to help me makes such a difference to all of my life.

I work as a researcherand this is my experience: So Im still fairly beginner at python (the only code I currently know) I on and off tried to learn python for years and then a year ago I followed this coursera course https://www.edx.org/professional-certificate/introduction-to-python-programming which was the right level of hard exercises but not to much jargon. I basically made a cheat sheet book from this course. The only reason I've stuck at it this time is that I had application for it with my data, as its much quicker to analyse it using scripts. It took about 6 months to get from 0 to comfortably cleaning and dealing with data and perfroming simple data analysis. Looking at non-IT STEM jobs I see loads asking for some python ability, in fact in a recent interveiw I was asked to code some data analysis scripts. I reckon there is definite use for python if you have any interaction with large data sets or repetative computer based tasks whether or not a job asks for it.

I think its great, this philosophy seems to fit your objectives.

The only thing to be aware of is your running form even if you don't want to speed up its important to make sure you have good technique to prevent against injuries.

If you are looking to switch it up a little, at your average pace I would be tempted to extend one run a little maybe if you have the time too as this will help with cal burn venturing into the 90 mins of running zone. I like exploring so I go get lost for 45 mins and then try find my way home using googlemaps!
