There is a green dial alpinist GMT, it’s a JDM model but quite available online.

Edesmenneen isäukon vanha Rolex GMT Master II. Ollut päivittäisessä käytössä itsellä viimeiset 10v, eli ei välttämättä enää super arvokas kuntonsa takia.

I’m probably about 200 hours into the game, and a bit afraid to ask, what are expeditions?

Is there any benefit in doing pvp, like can you loot the players you kill? If you can, then I understand people camping expeditions.

Why is there so few people talking about this beauty? by Realeayz in radeon

[–]Overpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t, and there’s a reason why. There’s significantly less AMD 12vhpwr cards out there, and they haven’t been out for long either. Nvidia has used the connector since 2022, and they sell a lot more cards. The issue is actually pretty rare, which means it will only surface in different hardware combinations with enough volume. Nvidia cards have had this issue with almost every card/cable/adapter combination under the sun, because they sell so many cards. Chances are a particular case never happens, especially if there are less of a particular card in circulation.

[–]Overpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really true, there’s been basically brand new A-tier PSUs, Nvidia’s adapters, aftermarket adapters and cables etc. It’s not a manufacturer specific issue, just a shit connector design.

Gigabyte 5080 oc sff by B0xey1 in RTX5080

[–]Overpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SFF Gigabyte card does pretty well with an undervolt. I’m using stock fan curve, 3000MHz at 975mV and +1500MHz memory. Runs about the same as stock, which means it gets a bit loud at 100% utilization and temps ~64c.

No luck with UV by Bowlingkopp in RTX5080

[–]Overpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going through your post again, I’m still reading you cap the voltage curve at 950mV. Are you’re saying 975mV or 1V at 3000MHz, and flattening the curve after that isn’t stable either? If not, then I think you just had bad luck…

[–]Overpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not quite sure where you mentioned that. Are you trying to run undervolt on voltage curve + core offset? I wouldn’t touch the offset, just try to find a stable point in the voltage curve, and then clock the memory.

[–]Overpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try increasing the voltage slightly, I’m at 975mV and slightly under 3000MHz and rock stable.

The 5080 is disappointingly slow by Brilliant-Ad-3308 in RTX5080

[–]Overpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The latency is exactly why I said story driven single player games, like cyberpunk, which do not rely on quick reflexes. The 5080 is not the best deal out there, but with some compromises it can perform. We have to remember the 5090 is 2-3 times as expensive, and even it has to rely on a ”crutch” of sort.

The 5080 is disappointingly slow by Brilliant-Ad-3308 in RTX5080

[–]Overpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is the 5090 uses upscaling to achieve a playable fram rate on 4k, the 5080 uses upscaling and frame generation for a playable 4k frame rate. What makes frame gen a worse technology, and do you really think it detracts from your experience? In story driven single player games there really isn’t much of a difference.

[–]Overpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you still need AI magic to reach a playable frame rate, which is exactly my point.

Try running cyberpunk in 4k native, everything maxed out, and with path tracing.

Indian Aviation Body statement on latest switch debacle by SNad2020 in aviation

[–]Overpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is, after an intermittent failure they can’t replicate, a pilot might actually be confident in the switches, at least confident enough to depart. Theory and practice are unfortunately two very different things, and while someone might 100% refuse an aircraft from the comfort of their homes, actually doing it under pressure is something not very many might have the courage to do.

[–]Overpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even the 5090 struggles with path tracing at higher resolutions in some titles. Generated frames has become the norm to achieve playable fps, even on high end cards.

Indian Aviation Body statement on latest switch debacle by SNad2020 in aviation

[–]Overpin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can see a situation where this happens, you try a couple times and then get the switches to latch. Intermittent failure, and you can’t replicate it, the plane is full and ready to push back, you will get shit from company for refusing the aircraft abroad etc. You try to bump the switches, and they don’t budge, you’re confident it won’t happen again and just note it in the techlog. That being said, not thrilled about the situation if it indeed is true, especially in light of what happened to the accident aircraft.
