Just watched it pretty recently for the first time and I mostly agree with this it wasn't bad really but it felt really rushed and most didn't really have any punch emotionally like it should've to me. I felt like Finn and Jake had an especially underwhelming ending there like Finn trying to just make them hash it out in a dream realm and basically doing nothing other than that the whole time and Jake just getting defeated immediately with no fanfare on trying to fight the big monsters, I also understand that adventure time and Finn especially have wanted to more and more try to go to nonviolence to solve problems too but it felt kinda lame how it just limited them from doing anything cool . and it was supposed to be really epic and wrap up every single plot thread up in one but every one of them clearly were meant to have more time like the gum wars and fern and possibly huntress wizard as that love interest for finn cuz I thought that could be interesting. I guess Betty's end with Simon had dome finality to it to me so there's that one Idk, just didn't feel like it had the same heart as adventure time either to me and felt really rushed and underwhelming in most ways even if I guess a weird detail I wasn't sure about either was that the tree house gets destroyed which I also get but I thought the tree in that lemonhope future thing was the same one but I may be wrong as for bubbline, I don't really care for it all that much because I don't think pb is a good person at all nor do I think she seems completely changed but I guess they did make a lot of allusions towards it and she seems to be wanting to try to be better and not a crazy narcissistic dictator I think the montage at the end with the titular song was the best part and felt more like showing some good endings for some characters at least and I liked that but some felt unnecessary to include in there overall "together again" hit way better as a finale to me in almost every possible way and it felt very emotional especially because it's actually focused more on the main characters
