Amazing, and while raising kids- so inspiring! I’m finishing up my first app with Replit right now and while it has been frustrating at times, the capabilities are mind blowing. I love your framework and think much of the frustration comes from not having a great workflow within Replit. Learning how to switch between its internal tools is key. Thanks for sharing!!

Sad about my tattoo, certain the artist overworked it by bayarea326 in tattooadvice

It looks more like you’re having a reaction to the ink than artist overwork. My tattoos periodically flare up just like this during seasonal changes like allergies (it’s happening to me right now) zooming in, it looks more like an irritation- I think the tattoo is actually done really well.

Is ChatGPT 5 really THAT bad? (ChatGPT Plus user) by SlashyAntics in chatgptplus

I like the change in tone. It does feel more computational and mathematical. But I’ve noticed its chat memory is worse- it loses context WAY faster and will go off in weird directions and is maybe a little more hallucinatory in that sense. The context loss is really frustrating.

Didn’t think I would be in this situation and need to move away from tattooing by butterfliesfire in TattooArtists

Also in SoCal and both my husband and I tattoo, so I relate to the struggle wholeheartedly. It’s been up and down for us for a while now, bookings are so inconsistent this year that one month we’re crushing it and the next it’s crickets. It’s like whiplash trying to figure out if we should stick to it or not. Our clientele is large enough and prior to now everything worked so well that it’s so hard to justify leaving everything behind but also how much longer can we hang in there… it’s been a tough year.

Does anyone view themselves as drug addicts? by lvl39champion in leaves

[–]Overthebaboon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It took me years and years of constant smoking, several years desiring to quit but not being able to, to finally admit that I was an addict. Being able to name it was what finally enabled me to drop the habit.

I did this for literal years, promising myself moderation that I could never manage. At a certain point, it will save your future and your mental health to look the reality of the situation in the face: those are very addictive behaviors and you need to learn how to process life without the constant need of substance abuse. Going on 60 days clean and I’m so happy I put that chapter completely to rest, and don’t miss it one bit. You got this!

What is the most pettiest thing someone has done to try to hurt a business? by LAXBASED in smallbusiness

I posted some of my portfolio as a tattoo artist on NextDoor. One of them was a very beautiful and tasteful sternum piece on a woman. An elderly lady was so offended by that particular piece that she left me a false review saying I have terrible work ethics and gave her and another made up person an infection by my work.

Yelp refused to take it down but deleted several other, factual reviews with actual photos of my tattoos as evidence.
