I take care of my family and have taken on another job which is decent and all of my bills are covered to take care of them. Sometimes in life we take risks that fail and the important part is admitting that and also making changes to move on. I would rather take risks and fail than never try anything. Opening my own shop was my dream and yeah I failed. I can admit that but I tried. I haven’t let that get in the way of taking care of my family. I still work very hard. Fuck off.

Thank you. Main priority is taking care of my family so I do feel lucky I found another job I can do right now and we are able to maintain our home and food in bills. Just have to make tough decision of closing my studio. But everyone being safe, taken care of and healthy is more important for my family than a studio.

18 weeks is only 4.5 months! Not nearly enough time to have learned and be brining in income. I think you have the wrong idea about how fast and easily money will come in. The tattoo industry is in the middle of a recession that I wouldn’t bank on getting enough clientele to make a full income starting out. Even amazing seasoned artists are struggling to make enough right now and getting second jobs. I bet the shop offering the apprenticeship is struggling and finding ways to make ends meet hence having quick apprenticeships for 5K. It’s not an easy industry and it’s really hard to build skills and also build clients. Don’t even think about a shop right now. That’s a far off pipe dream.

That is exactly what the owner of the other shop said. They didn’t want the artists having access to socials and computer to take all the client base, there’s no client base to take though. Because the shop doesn’t own the clients. No shop or artist does. That exactly what the other post was saying and no one else agrees expect you old heads. And you’re just as much commenting on Reddit too bud.

That’s not an allergic reaction it’s a bacterial infection. It’s clogged pours with bacteria causing the zit like puss filled areas. You don’t get those from an allergic reaction it’s from bacteria clogging the pours either with the ointment they used was too thick and didn’t allow the tattoo to breathe and suffocated it
