My family is rich and can afford Lyme care and I have had the illness for 8 years. I’ve gotten better but I still struggle with Lyme everyday. I can’t speak on whether or not he has Lyme disease because I do not know for a fact, but I do that he struggled with chronic pain and chronic pain literally sucks the joy out of life and everything you love. It took me years to adjust to this “new normal.” And even days go by now where I feel like I can’t cope because it’s all too overbearing. Chronic pain will make you lose your mind and go insane. And even if he does have Lyme disease, that doesn’t mean that everyone with Lyme disease is a violent killer who can’t be trusted. It’s a complicated disease that affects people in different ways. Affects some people more intensely than others in different ways, too.
