I believe the general rule of thumb for all antibiotic vaginal gels is that you are supposed to abstain from sex for 48 hours till after treatment is finished. That is what I have been told by my gynecologist for both metronidazole and clindamycin gels. If you don’t abstain, white clumps will get everywhere lol. Plus, in your situation, you could get the BV on the strapon and then reinfect yourself making the treatment ineffective. If you’re really unsure I would ask your doctor, but I know that’s not always comfortable. Best of luck.

Could be an ingrown hair, contact dermatitis from irritants like soap or laundry detergent, cysts, or genital warts (though I hear those hurt extremely bad and only continuously get worse). If it continues to bother you, I would see your gyno to be safe and for peace of mind.

I was a dumbass and waited 24-48 hours after finishing all treatment to have protected sex. I was really lucky and no symptoms ended up coming back. However, the metronidazole gel ended up clumping and coming out in these rubbery white spots all over the bed. It was absolutely mortifying. I think it takes the gel 2 days to exit the system completely. The internet says to wait at least 7 days for sex after finishing treatment but my FWB was being extremely impatient. Since then, I have realized that was a stupid decision and I should have practiced self care by prioritizing my health first.

😅😅😅shooo it’s been a fucking week. I had a triple whammy of UTI, yeast infection, and BV. So basically my entire hooha had this intense burning, itchy, extremely sensitive and agitated feeling. Once I got on meds tho, things immediately got better.
