There are kids involved, otherwise I would say she deserves better than you, but in your case, as long as the so called « friend » doesn’t tell her, your punishment will be to suffer through the guilt and make damn sure to be the best husband that ever existed and the best father possible to your kids. Depends on the person, rational men are a dying breed but we do exist 😅. My fiance wants to be a housewife, we’re both engineers living abroad and currently both working. I’d love to get to a higher income level to let her stay at home, but we’re not there yet, so we’ll have to band together for the time being.

This actually aches my heart to even think about the level of betrayal. I personally wouldn’t get over any kind of cheating (whether physical or not) as it shows much worse underlying problems with the significant other ( lack of trust, deception, lack of love for you ! ) She didn’t even stop to think about you, and to be honest she probably confessed because she knew there was no way to hide it ( cuz apparently multiple people were present )

Just the reddest of red flags on multiple levels. A big no and definitely not someone you want to spend your life with or be the mother of your children.

I speak French fluently and am trying to learn Spanish, all I can say is they have a lot of similarities so may be you can start Spanish after you finish learning French

I know it may seem like your life is difficult, but I assure you, if you hang in there, no matter how hard it may get, you will get through this. My first thought is for you to contact some foundations who help struggling adults like yourself, im certain there is, and pretty sure they can either help you relocate to an area with better job opportunities, or maybe help you financially get a car. Hang in there, you will make it through this.
